Saturday is chores day, but not today. Mommy decided today would be good for baking (so she could tear things up today before she cleaned the house. And wouldn’t you know it, we were up before the crack of dawn to get started.
She made a second batch of fudge and this one - she says - is by far better than batch one.
She made two batches of the peanut butter cookie dough and then took a break to take me for a walk and to get get holiday ready.
She masked up and got a little help from her friends to get them all baked.
Of course, she did the laundry, picked up our packages from the basement and cooked my chicken for the week.
This gift was quite a surprise. Someone clearly knows Mommy really well.
Mommy didn’t forget to make her statement when she left the house to get holiday ready.
Now we rest.
