It's Me, Clyde

Hi everyone. Cosmo told me I could write on his blog today about my experience with Cosmo, Aunt Sarah and Uncle Joel this week.

I have had a blast. Don't get me wrong, I miss my family, but Cosmo and crew have been taking good care of me. Uncle Joel works from home so we get to spend a lot of time with him. He is always busy; talking on the phone to his clients (and sometimes, Aunt Sarah).

We get very excited when Aunt Sarah comes home from work. She is really cool. She always gives me treats (something called Cheerios. Cosmo loves it, so I love it too!). And, she cuddles with me. I like that. Oh, and don't tell Mommy and Daddy but Aunt Sarah lets me have a chip each night at dinner (just like Cosmo).

Uncle Joel takes Cosmo and I for a walk everyday. I have met a few other dogs in the neighborhood (all very nice) and I finally got to meet the Basset Hounds tonight when we were out for a walk (they barked at me.)

Cosmo still isn't crazy about the fact that I love to sleep on Grandma's quilt. But, I heard Cosmo asked Grandma to make one for me. Maybe she will (I can only hope).

I hear Mommy and Daddy are coming home tomorrow. I will be sad to leave Cosmo, but I know that we will see each other soon.

Clyde's Here!

Mommy and Daddy had prepared me for Clyde's arrival, but I didn't realize he was staying so long. Cool.

Clyde and I have spent the last couple of days getting re-aquainted with each other. We haven't seen each other since Mommy and Daddy went on their cruise last October.

I am a little more energetic than Clyde and sometimes he doesn't like it. But, he lets me know. On the other hand, I haven't been so cool with Clyde using Grandma's Quilt during nap time. In fact, I am quite jealous. I told Mommy she would had to tell Grandma to make Clyde his own quilt. I am definately having a hard time sharing it.

Clyde brought his friend "snake." He is pretty cool and Clyde and I have been playing with him a lot. Also, Clyde likes to eat my food and I like to eat Clyde's food. Aunt Angie told Daddy that this has happened when I have stayed with Aunt Angie.

Here I am:

And here's Clyde:

Mommy and Daddy say that Clyde and I have the same "traits." We both like to have our belly's scratched and when tired, we will roll on our backs and sleep. We both like to run to the front door when we hear sounds and get very agitated when people and other dogs walk by. We are just trying to protect Mommy and Daddy.

We both like to lick our paws and we both sneeze in the morning. Personally, I think we were meant to be together.

Clyde wants me to tell his family that he is doing good and says that Uncle Joel and Aunt Sarah are taking very good care of him.

Bunny Sunday

Yes, that is what my cousin Jackson Hareing calls Easter. I like it. It has a nice ring to it, don't you think?

I spent Easter weekend with Grandma and Grandpa! I had so much fun. Grandpa took me out for walks and got down and played with me on the floor. I got to cuddle with Grandma! Speaking of Grandma, don't you think she looks great! Her hair is finally growing back (although I miss being able to give her kisses on her head).

I was pooped out at the end of each evening. But, much to Mommy and Daddy's surprise, I didn't sleep too much on the way home. I was more interested in Mommy's french fries from McDonald's (my favorite).

Oh, and I can't forget, the Easter Bunny came to visit me at Grandma and Grandpa's house. He left me a new bunny toy (who I call Spots) and my absolute favorite, peanut butter bones.

Happy Easter.

I will miss you GG

Daddy told me this evening that GG passed away this afternoon. I am very sad. Daddy told me that when he would visit GG, she would ask about me - and my cousin Clyde. I know everyone, including me, loves her very much and will miss her.
