That's what Mommy calls me. What do you think? Am I a cutie pie?
Maybe I am. But these ladies are also cutirs. Mommy and her friends had dinnER out last night to celebrate Rachel and Christian's birthdays.

Cold?
Look Mom. It looks nice outside to me. The sun is shining and everything.
No, I swear. Look!
You don't believe me, do you?
She didn't. But like always, she was right. It was too cold to be outside today (even with a coat on).

Snuggle Time
It's cold outside and the snow is coming down, but that doesn't matter. Because I'm doing what I look forward to every day; snuggle time with Mommy!
BTW...take note of Mommy's cubs onesie. I didn't realize they made them for adults. She's tried to convince me it is her strategy for staying warm. I argue seat pants, sweatshirt and will socks would do the trick.

Bear Down
Mommy went to the Bears game yesterday with her friend Bobbi (a Lions fan). She put Aunt Kristin's Christmas gift to good use (a Bears ugly sweater scarf).
She had been looking forward to an outdoor game in the middle of winter for the experience. She really wanted it to snow too (for the experience of course) and it did (flurries really, but we'll count it).
And, the Fridge was in the house, an iconic player from the 80's Mommy grew up watching.
The Bears didn't end up winning, but Mommy still had a great time.

Happy New Year
We survived the biggest snow storm in 20 years, the green river, Pride weekend, the Blackhawks celebration parade, the Cubs in the playoffs, the Bears not-so-good season(s) and experienced new places and faces. We are proud to call Chicago our home. And best of all, we are doing it together.
Our last picture (together) in 2015
Mommy spent NYE out enjoying the games, good food and toasting new friendships. I love the picture below. She has a smile on her face and she is ready to take on what 2016 has in store.
Mommy at midnight
I'm looking forward to 2016. I want to take more walks, meet more people and cross a few things off my bucket list, including shopping with Mommy on Michigan Avenue (and even going into the stores). But mostly, I want Mommy to find peace of mind and heart. She lives, works and loves hard, and I've seen the effect that has on her. This year, she had to walk away from something that meant the world to her and I know it has caused her much pain. And while I know it was the best thing for her, I hope that she will one day - again - find a way back to that something that ignites her passion the way that something did.

Here's to 2016...may the coming year bring you much love, peace and joy.
