Denver

Mommy went to Denver on business this week.

The view from the office.

So while Mommy was in Denver, I went to play with my friends. This is Brie.

I had a ton of fun, but boy was I tired when Mommy picked me up.

Once I got home, I went to bed (and snuggled with my PEEP).

New Family Picture

Here's the latest Mommy and me photo.

And these are the outtakes from our impromptu photo session.

The Movies and More

They are filming a new movie in Chicago called Rampage. It apparently stars "The Rock." I was hoping to get a glimpse of him this morning on my walk, but I didn't.

They had our street blocked off again (yesterday too), so I couldn't see anything. But Mommy went up on the roof of our building yesterday and was able to take few photos. You don't see military vehicles and smoke machines on Wacker drive every day.

Enough about the movies. I spent the rest of the week catching up on my Zzzzssss. Or looking cute as Mommy would say.

Oh, I forgot to tell you that boating season has officially begun. Mommy joined Kathryn and friends for an afternoon on the boat last weekend. But, the winds were too high to sail. But they had fun anyway. They were celebrating Linda's birthday (Talulah's Mom).

Bono and the Boys

Auntie Kristin came for a visit - along with her friend Judy - to see Bono and the Boys (U2 to all of you) at Soldier Field.

First, Judy. Judy lived next door to Auntie Kristin and Mommy when they were children in Springfield, IL. Auntie Kristin reconnected with Judy a few years ago and now they go to concerts together. Mommy was so young she didn't remember Judy.

Mommy and Auntie Kristin made sure to show Judy a good time. They took her to the Sugar Factory (Auntie Kristin hadn't been there either) for some candy adult beverages. They also took her to their favorite jewelry place (thank god they didn't get all of this).

They even had donuts from the Doughnut Vault - and on the rooftop of our apartment building.

But, the real reason they both were here was to see U2 on the 30th anniversary tour for the Joshua Tree album.

Mommy rounded up a few of her friends that were also going to the concert and headed out to the concert.

Auntie Kristin and Mommy had great seats (they weren't sitting together).

The Lumineers opened for U2. If you'll recall, Mommy and Auntie Kristin saw the Lumineers last year at this time. Both agreed that they sounded a lot better last night.

And then U2!

Everybody had a great time! They didn't like the 1.5 hour trip home, but they made it home safely.
