Hair Cut

Got my summer cut yesterday (although it was 45 degrees when I woke up this morning...not very summer feeling).

I was a good boy so I got a treat afterwards.

Mommy and Me

The best part of Mommy having a day off of work is the time she gets to spend with me.

The Greatest Day in Racing

Yesterday was the greatest day in racing. First, the Formula1 race from Monaco.  I made sure I was up early to get my spot on the couch.

Next up, the Indianapolis 500. Jim Nabors wasn't there this year (always liked that tradition). There were more crashes this year than I remembered from past years. And towards the end there were lots of lead changes. But, Montoya pulled put the win (I was happy).

And finally, the Coca-Cola 600 NASCAR race. I was tuckered out, but made it through the whole race. Junior didn't win, but he came in a very respectable third.

Now, what to do today?

Happy Puppy

The Bridges of Cook County

Mommy saw this sight on her way to the train yesterday. It is not a common site.

Cubbies

Mommy went to her first Cubs game this past week. She had a great time.

Me, I stayed in bed.

Happy Mother's Day

Here's to the best Mommy in the whole world (and thank you to - you know who you are - for helping me send something special to Mommy).

Hiding

Mommy came out of the bathroom this morning and she couldn't find me. She went all around the apartment (it is pretty small). But, she couldn't find me. Eventually she did find me hidden between the pillows on the bed (a favorite place of mine).

Cosmo, the bedside nurse

Mommy has had laryngitis all week. But she woke up in the middle of the night coughing (and I mean really coughing). At that point, I knew Mommy's laryngitis was really a bad cold/cough.

So I convinced Mommy to stay home from work (but of course she worked). But I didn't want to be far from her.

So I'd give her hugs.

I'd keep a close eye on her when she was on her conference calls.

I'd take notes because Mommy was feeling weak.

And would just be sure she'd have someone to lean on when she felt weary during the day.

I think I did a very good job taking care of Mommy.
