Mommy and Daddy went to the State Fair yesterday. It was a nice day to do it because it was cool (downright cold for Mommy, but she figured all of the people would help keep it warm on the State Fair grounds).
Mommy and Daddy went through all of the barns. They got to see baby animals in the Miracle of Birth barn. They saw a cow that was born on Friday. His name was Charlie and he weighed 100 lbs. at birth. Can you believe it? They also saw baby pigs at feeding time. They were also born the day before (a bit more my size, I would say).

Oh, and look at this one. The girl fell asleep in the hay and her cow is resting its head on her back. How cute. Daddy said he used to do this with his cow Jeffrey.

But, the highlight of the day was the bunny barn. You know how much Mommy loves bunnies (she had one, Flopsy, when she was growing up). I particularly like this first one. It looks like it has a mohawk.

They also got to see a cool parade - with Ronald McDonald and the Princess K of the Milky Way (State Fair Queen, I think).

And, of course, you cannot forget the food.

Daddy tried every year to eat his way through the fair, but he does a pretty good job of containing himself. But what he does eat is extremely messy.

What did I do while Mommy and Daddy were at the State Fair? Slept.
