Auntie Vicki Was Here

Auntie Vicki and John came to visit. They are on a trio and didn't have to stop in Chicago. But because I'm here (and Mommy), they decided to stay downtown and come see me.

It was so great to see them both. I've really missed them!

The part of the day I enjoy the most...bedtime with Mommy. She puts me to bed and cuddles with me. I tell her all about my day and she tells me all about hers.

Flat Anna

I was a bit bummed that I couldn't go to all the places Mommy and Kristin did, but Anna told me that dogs weren't allowed in most places they went. So, I just hung out and helped guard the fort.

#PEEPSONALITY

Mommy posted on Twitter last week a picture of the 90 boxes of Peeps Auntie Kristin bought her after Easter. The Peeps team tweeted back and told Mommy she had #PEEPSONALITY. It sounded pretty cool and I wanted to show them I had it too.

The Look

I've been giving Mommy the look all day long. Why? Because I know today is the last day of Spring Break. That means Mommy heads back to work tomorrow. I'll miss her when she's at work!

And now, I'm hiding.

Snow and More

Mommy and I woke up to snow this morning (may be hard to see in these pictures).

And it has been a weird weather day ever since. It went from rain to snow to sun to snow to blizzard the entire day.

Oh, and this happened...

...Mommy got her hair cut. She hasn't had her hair cut (or colored) in more than a year.

I will never understand why she goes through all of that just to get her hair cut. But, I think it looks great, don't you?

Spring Break - Day 5

Spring Break day 5 started out much the same way day 4 ended; cold and wet. But that didn't stop Mommy from meeting up with her friend Rachel at The Field Museum to see the new Terracotta Warriors exhibit.

The Terracotta Warriors were discovered by a Chinese farmers in 1974 digging to lay a water well. Their discovery would lead historians to the burial location of China's first Emperor. The Warriors were found in a "pit", of which more "pits" have now been excavated and contain anything from warriors to rare animals.

Look, Mommy even had her picture taken with some!

Mommy thought the exhibit was pretty cool and would highly recommend others see it.

After the museum, Mommy and her friend Rachel headed over to.Eataly for a late lunch, early dinner.

Rachel summed up the day pretty well...a good history day.

As for me, I was just looking g forward to Mommy coming home so she could tell me all about her day - and cuddle!
