'Tis the Season

Mommy and I celebrate rated Christmas with Auntie Kristin, Uncle Eugene and Franklin (FAQ).

The festivities kicked off with a visit from Auntie Kristin's friends Patty and Joe and their son Jared. I met them when I stayed there before. We watched the game, toasted to the holiday and had Italian beef.

I rested so I could be prepared for family game night.

Things got competitive once game night started.

I was smart and stayed on the sidelines.

Mommy didn't win the first night. But that's OK. She made sure we got to bed early so Santa could visit.

Mommy and I visited FAQ on Christmas morning.

We spent Christmas day opening gifts, cooking dinner and playing new games.

I just like the bags and tissue paper.

We played  new game on Christmas. Auntie Kristin is obsessed with curling, so Santa brought her a curling game.

Mommy said the game was fun, but will take some time to perfect.

Avoiding

I've been avoiding Mommy all week? Why? I'm still not a fan of the week-long holiday head gear photos. I know I'll have to get in the spirit soon, but every day?

But my lack of participation has not stopped Mommy from getting into the spirit.

Oh...I need to share with you one of the best gifts Mommy has ever received...a tower of cotton candy!

Holiday Spirit

Mommy has a thing for "head gear" for all holidays. She has so many for Christmas that she decided we needed to have a holiday head gear week. Clearly I'm not as into it as she is.

The only thing I'll say is Mommy looks pretty cute as an angel.

What's That Sound?

You all know I'm terrified of the refrigerator monster.  A close second is the Dishwasher. Mommy thinks she is being clever when she turns on the Dishwasher before bed. She thinks her white noise app will drown it out. She is wrong.

Game Face

Morning, Evening

My day starts out watching Mommy get ready for work and then hiding once I know she is almost ready to leave to go to work.

Mommy is sad that I'm sad she is leaving. So she gives me lots of hugs and kisses (and takes an occasional selfie).

By the time Mommy gets home from work, I'm ready to play. Mommy chases me (or I chase her). I get tired and end the day much the same way I start it (but I'm not hiding).

The Most Sought After Gift of the Season

Matching PJs. That's right, the most sought after gift this holiday season is matching PJs. But, not matching PJs for the family, rather for pets and their owners.

Auntie Rachel gifted Mommy and me matching onesie, hoodie PJs. And she even had our names embroidered on the PJs. How cool are these?

The PJs are super comfy and help keep us both warm (especially Mommy since she is always cild)
