We finally arrived and all I can say is wow, Kristin has a lot of space. So, I spent much of the first evening exploring the house. But, it did wear me out. So, I made myself right at home.
I waited for Mommy and Aunt Kristin to get home from dinner before meeting my cousin Jackson Hareing. Auntie Kristin was worried I might be a little much for Jackson. But, I was confident he and I would be friends right away.
We did spend a lot of time chasing each other in the basement. And when Jackson was tired, he would just run right into his cage (and I wasn't going into that at all).
Mommy and Kristin spent Thanksgiving watching football and eating cheese ball. By the way, I wasn't so impressed with the Bears game, but I did have the best seat in the house.
Mommy and Aunt Kristin went out for Thanksgiving dinner at a local steakhouse (but definately no Manny's or Chicago Cut). After dinner, they went shopping (of course).
They didn't spend too much time out shopping on Thanksgiving, as they had decided they were going to go out shopping the next day in the town over. When it comes to Black Friday shopping, Mommy and Aunt Kristin know how to do it right. But, they didn't come home with much (as they really didn't need anything).
Once home, they waited for Uncle Eugene to make it home. He was Sweeden for work meetings. He got home and went right to bed. But, he was up early the next morning and I got to watch him fill the bird feeder and helped him roast coffee (well, I spent most of the time running around).
I loved spending time at Aunt Kristin's and Uncle Eugene's. And, I hope to be able to go back soon. But, all that running around finally caught up with me. I slept through the entire night.
