Can I Get Any Cuter?

Mommy says I can't,  but I think I can.

RIP Murphy

My dear friend Murphy crossed the rainbow bridge today. While I'm incredibly sad for Aunt Stacia, Uncle David, Sydney and Chloe, I'm very grateful that I got to spend most of the summer with him last year. He helped me make the transition to my new home easier. He was Stacia and David's first "child" and Mommy remembers when Sydney came home from the hospital and how protective Murphy was of the "invader" to his space.

We miss you, Murphy and love you.

Auntie Kristin Was Here

Auntie Kristin came to visit this weekend. She was in town to go to a concert with Mommy. But, she got more than she bargained for.

First things first. Auntie a Kristin arrived before Mommy got home from work. So I got to spend 1:1 time with her.

Once Mommy got home from work they headed to dinner at one of Mommy's favorite restaurants; Chicago Cut. Auntie Kristin really liked it. They wrapped up the night door at Moe's before heading home to get some sleep. They had to get up early to partake in the St. Patrick's Day festivities.

Mommy and Auntie Kristin said there were so many people out celebrating. I could tell. The lines to get in the bars next door were hundreds deep.

But Mommy and Auntie Kristin were able to navigate the crowds to see the dying of the Chicago River green.

They had a lot of fun, but wanted to get some shopping in too! So they headed off to one of Mommy's (and now Auntie Kristin's) favorite places in Chicago (where she gets all her fun statement necklaces). Each of the got some cool stuff. Then they for new facinators (matching, of course) and stopped for a little lunch at The Walnut Room (and a Frango Mint Martini).

They came home for a rest before heading out to the Alabama Shakes concert (which they loved).

They spent Sunday making plans for their next convert adventure and shopping (of course).

Thank you Auntie Kristin for visiting and letting me sleep with you each night!

Lazy Sunday

It is a lazy Sunday in our house today. It must be the result of Daylight Saving Time.

Dr. Cosmo is in the House

Mommy stayed home from work one day this week. For those of you that know Mommy, she doesn't get sick all that often. She didn't have the flu, rather a really intense headache.

So, I did what I did best. I snuggled up to her and was sure to keep my eye on her in case she needed anything.

I'm happy to report that her headache finally subsided. I'm sure it was all because I was with her making sure she was ok!

The Chocolate Bar

Mommy met Cousin Cindy (her first cousin once removed) for an evening at the Peninsula Hotel. Cindy invited Mommy to join her and her friends. Mommy was excited to see someone she knew - and meet new people.

Mommy said it was fun and so much chocolate. They even make a hot chocolate any way you want with any chocolate you want (I would have been named coco if I was a girl).

And everyone got a Peninsula bear for coming. A good time was had by all. As well as a chocolate coma.

And just because!
