Day 138 - COVID-19 2020

It's Friday!

Same old, same old. Mommy took an hour of summer Friday to go to the pool. It is a process...she has to sign up for a time and all. I won't get into how she thought it went, all you need to know is Mommy finally put her toes in the water and did keep her mask on (made of swimsuit material).

Mommy took me out for a walk before her Friday virtual happy hour.

And everyone made it to happy hour tonight. This is Alison Hammer. Her debut novel "You and Me and Us" published in April. Her book tour was cancelled due to COVID. Grandma loved her book. Mommy's colleague Allie's Mom was able to get Ali to join her book club for a special Q&A. Great writing. You should read it!

I slept during happy hour.

Finally, the mask and statement of the day.

Day 137 - COVID-19 2020

Last night was a rough night.

I kept Mommy up most of the night because I kept getting down from bed and wanting her to put me back in it.

I did sleep most of the day. I woke up shortly before it was time to go on our walk.

Let us not forget the mask and statement of the day.

Day 136 - COVID-19 2020

What a day. It was so different. We went for our walk early this morning.

Mommybtook me out early because shw thought it might be raining by the time her meetings wrapped up today. But guess what? It wasn't raining when Mommy wrapped up so we went out again.

I spent the time in between napping and attending Mommy's meeting.

And now, the mask and statement of fhe day.

Day 135 - COVID-19 2020

Mommy had a very long meeting today. An all-day meeting. So I hung out, stretched my legs, had some snacks, made an appearance on her video meeting and slept again.

I did start to get a bit annoyed by the length of the meeting so started pestering Mommy to hang up and take me for a walk. She was not amused.

I finally got her to take me for our walk. A guy stopped Mommy and said "I walked with swagger. He just knows, you know." And I'm like, yes! Have you met me?

Finally, the statement and mask of the day.

Day 134 - COVID-19 2020

Monday. I slept great last night. Mommy decided to put my bed in the bed and boy, was that great. I spent part of the night in my bed and part of the night sleeping next to my bed.

I still slept during the day (in my other bed) while Mommy was working.

Tbis is the look I give Mommy when I'm anxious to get outside.

We made it out for a walk. I started pacing and whining an hour earlier than normal. I'll chalk it up to my clock being off since I got so much good sleep last night.

Finally, the statement and mask of the day.

Day 133 - COVID-19 2020

Sunday. It was a hot one. So hot, we had to go out early this morning for our walk (Mommy didn't want me to burn my feet).

Oh this is how Mommy finds me most mornings. Curled up right beside her.

I spent the rest of rhe morning watching Mommy Iron and catch up on a few household items.

Mommy did go out for a walk, but she wasn't gone for long. The sun was out. The humidity high and it felt in excess of 100 degrees. She did come home and take a shower before Framily dinner (thank God).

Finally, the mask (a nod to KISS) and statement of the day.

Day 132 - COVID-19 2020

Saturday. That means cleaning, laundry and procuring antibacterial wipes and spray.

This is me supervising cleaning.

This is me after I've climbed in the mulch.

Mommy found more ducks on her walk today by the Hancock building (even though your aren't allowed to call it that any more).

This was the statement Mommy made today. It was too hot for jewelry she said.
