My Lazy Week
I've spent the entire week catching up on my sleep.
Mommy stayed home with me the entire week. She finally ventured out yesterday - to start the car and get gas. Both Mommy and the car were shocked. Doesn't she looked thrilled in this photo?

Christmas in Texas
Mommy went to visit Grandma and Grandpa in Texas for Christmas.
First, Mommy had to take me to play with my friends. I ended up lying in her lap the whole ride because I wanted to see all the people that were on the streets. It's busy here in Chicago at holiday time and I love all the hustle and bustle.
Once Mommy got me settled, she jetted off to Texas. Of course, Grandpa came to the airport to pick her up.
Once Mommy got to Grandma and Grandpa's house, she found her Xmas headgear and put it on. And she got to work, making cookies with Grandma.
Mommy came to get me once she got home. And boy, I wasn't prepared for how cold it was either. So when I got home, all I wanted to do was go to bed and sleep..
But Mommy had to join her friends that night. It was Kathryn's birthday and everyone got together to make sure to celebrate her in the only way they know how...bubbles, wine and good food.

Everyone got great gifts, including Grandma and Grandpa. Mommy gave each a tablet so they could easily read my blog whenever they wanted.
Mommy had a great time visiting Grandma and Grandpa, but she had to get home to me. But, things had changed since Mommy left. There is now snow on the ground and the temperature has dropped into the negative digits.
But Mommy had to join her friends that night. It was Kathryn's birthday and everyone got together to make sure to celebrate her in the only way they know how...bubbles, wine and good food.

Framily Christmas
Mommy, Auntie Rachel, Auntie Linda and Uncle Fernando celebrated Christmas last weekend. This time they came to our place. Mommy even made a vegan stew for Auntie Linda (and they all agreed it was fantastic).
Everybody got great gifts. The biggest hit of the day was the "Framily photo album" Mommy gifted Auntie Rachel and Auntie Linda.

Christmas in Chicago
Mommy took a walk around the city yesterday to capture Christmas in Chicago.
Mommy was disappointed in the Macy's windows. They were designs from Christmas past. Or as Mommy says, a display from a financially-strapped retailer that cannot afford new designs.
