Auntie Vicki's Back

Auntie Vicki is back from vacation. I love Auntie Vicki. She takes such good care of me when my Mommy and Daddy are at work.

She sent me a postcard from her vacation (Glacier National Park) last week. It said:

"Dear Cosmo, It is so very beautiful here but I wish you were here with me. I miss you. Say high to your mom & dad for me. Love and snuggles, Auntie Vicki."

Isn't that sweet? I am so excited to see her tomorrow.

Also,I want to say hi to Grandpa Mac. Mommy says he asks about me and she always gives me a "rub on my head" for Grandpa!

A New Member of the Family

Mommy and Daddy went to Wabasha yesterday to see Grandpa and all of Daddy's brothers and sisters. I was bummed that I couldn't go, but they told me it would be best if I stayed home since they were going to spend much of the day on the boat.





When Mommy and Daddy arrived, they discovered a new member of the family; Liberty (or Libby for short). She is Clyde's new sister. She is a Newfoundland...that means she is going to get really big.



Mommy and Daddy tell me she is really cute...and I think they are right. I understand that Clyde is sometimes less than smitten with her. That's because Clyde isn't a puppy anymore and sometimes he would rather rest than play. But, he is getting used to her.

Personally, I am looking forward to meeting Libby and playing with her and Clyde!

Wedding Anniversary

Mommy and Daddy left me at home last night to celebrate Mommy's birthday and their seventh wedding anniversay. Bummer...because I would have liked to celebrate with them, but they tell me that Manny's (the restaurant they went to) doesn't allow pets.

Get Well, Auntie Vicky

I was upset when I learned that Auntie Vicky (she takes care of me at day camp) had an accident the other day. She was playing with one of the puppies and accidentally tripped. She took a big fall...I heard the ambulance even had to be called. Mommy and Daddy have assured me that everything is OK (although she had a very black eye and a big bump on her head), but I sure did miss her today at day camp.

Auntie Vicky, please get well soon. I don't think I can go through another day at day camp without seeing you.

Hi Ya'll! Mommy is home!

I got another note from Grandpa yesterday letting me know that she was on her way.

Cosmo, this is Grandpa Mac. Your Mommy is coming home to see you today, in fact she may already be there when you see this note. Mommy's visit was very good, Grandma liked having her come and did somethings together. Ask Mommy about the Quilting Guild. Hope you are OK and have no more bad storms, including Bow Echos. Thank you Grandpa Mac (and Grandma) for taking such good care of my Mommy this week. She had a great time...and misses you already.

A Note From Grandpa

Grandpa sent me a note to let me know that all is well in Texas. For those of you who don't know, Mommy is in Texas visiting Grandma and Grandpa.

Cosmo - this is Grandpa Mac. I am sending this to let you know that your Mommy arrived here safely on Saturday and enjoyed her day today shopping at the Woodlands Mall. Also, Grandma is much better and will be going out with your Mommy this week. Grandma says hello and hopes your Daddy scratches your ears for her. This was Grandma after her Dr's. appointment yesterdays. She is doing well, but the doctors have been working with her to determine what the next steps are in her treatment/recovery from surgery.
