Hi everyone! What a week. Daddy was out of town this week so I got to go see my friends at day camp three times! I went on a day I normally don't and got to meet a lot of new little puppies. There was one in particular that took a liking to me; Penny. Here is what the ladies told Mommy and Daddy on my report card:
"Cosmo met a new lady friend today, a small poodle named Penny. She quickly became infatuated with him, but he stayed faithful to Lacey & let her down easy. Always a gentleman." Penny was really nice and fun to play with, but I still love my little Lacey!
Anyways, I went there yesterday too. But, not to play with my friends. Mommy and Daddy took me there to get a bath. They told me I was going to be doing something special that required me to get a bath. I wasn't so keen when the lady brushed my ears. She told Mommy I nipped at her a bit. Mommy was not happy with me (well, it hurt when she brushed my ears).
Mommy and Daddy then took me home to sleep and they went to the State Fair.
It was a beautiful day and they said there were tons of people there. They got to see plenty of animals.
They also had a few things to eat. Look at Daddy, they advertised this as a pork chop on a stick, but Daddy said this was really like a pork loin on a stick!
They had a really good time and it gave me plenty of time to catch up on my sleep.
Oh, and Bernadette, I know you don't believe Mommy when she tells you that there is a booth at the State Fair called Australian Potatoes. But, there is. And Mommy took a picture to prove it.
But, the real treat of the weekend happened today! Mommy and Daddy put me in the car early this morning. I thought I was just going to go see my friends again. I was so excited that I wanted to watch the whole ride.
But, I knew we were in the car way to long to be going to see my friends. So, I laid down and tried to enjoy the ride, but I was just too excited to see what was awaiting me at our final destination.
Finally, about an hour later, we arrived at Cheri's house. Cheri is Daddy's cousin. She is a photographer and she even took Mommy and Daddy's wedding photos. What I didn't know is that she had called Mommy and Daddy to see if we would come out so she could take pictures of me! They were more than happy to have more picture taken of me.
Well, I had a blast. I didn't really sit still for too long! There were so many new things to smell and taste. Cheri has a huge back yard. So, I got to run all over it. Mommy and Daddy looked pretty funny trying to chase me down. I just loved it. And, oh yeah, Cheri was able to get photos of me! She told Mommy she would put them on the Internet so I could share them with my friends! How cool is that.
Thanks Cheri for having me over! I was so dirty from running around at your house that I had to have a bath when I got home.
I wasn't really excited by that, but Mommy tried to get it done as quick as possible because I was just pooped.
