Reunited

This week was all about reuniting. First up, Auntie Vicky.

Auntie Vicky was on vacation in Mexico for a whole week. I missed her terribly. Good thing Mommy was gone this week on business. That meant I got to spend more time with Auntie Vicky.

I mentioned that Mommy was out of town this week on business. She had to go to Orlando for a quick trip. I honestly couldn't get to Day Camp quick enough. I knew I would get to hang out with my friends, but I also knew that Auntie Vicky would be back from vacation.

It took forever to get to Day Camp because it was raining and the traffic was going way too slow.

We eventually got there and all was right with the world (because Auntie Vicky was there to greet me).

Mommy stayed at the hotel with the ducks. I love the ducks.

I got to help Auntie Vicky with the morning chores.

Auntie Vicky kept Mommy up-to-date on how I was doing. Good thing, it was like she never left.

I had a lot of fun this week, but I am happy to be back home with Mommy!

Mommy Sunday

Today is Mother's Day. And there is no other way to honor my Mommy than sharing a few of my favorite photos of Mommy and me, Mommy, and Aunt Kristin and Grandma.

My Mommy is the best Mommy on earth. She takes care of me, she lets me play with my friends and she doesn't get mad when I given hugs and kisses to Auntie Vicky. She's tolerant of my barking when another dog walks by the house, she doesn't mind me getting her up in the middle of the night when I need to get back in bed (bed is too tall that I can't get in it on my own) and she is OK when I bother her at dinner just so I can have cheese! She really is the best Mommy in the world.

My Week at Day Camp

Mommy had to travel this week for business so I spent most of the week with my friends - and Auntie Vicky - at day camp.

Mommy dropped me off on Tuesday morning. I knew something was up, because it is not the day I normally go to day camp.

 

Mommy's flight was really early on Wednesday morning, so she had to drop me off on Tuesday. Mommy had to get up super early (like 2:30 a.m.) to get to the airport. Me? I was able to sleep in before joining Auntie Vicky and my friends in day camp. But, before the day started, Auntie Vicky made sure Mommy knew how much I missed her.

 

I spent the next day resting and today, I spent the day with my friends again. Again, Auntie Vicky wanted to make sure Mommy knew that I was doing OK, but that I missed her.



Then, it happened. Mommy came to pick me up after work on Friday. I was so excited to see her.

I couldn't quite figure out why it took so long for them to reunite me with Mommy. Mommy later told me that there were a few puppies being dropped off to stay at the hotel this weekend.

Finally, all was right in my world and was able to sleep in Mommy's lap all the way home.

Major Milestones

There have been a couple of major milestones in the family these past few weeks.

Brenton was confirmed (Mommy and Daddy couldn't make it to the ceremony). But, Aunt Sarah took some photos that I could share with you.

And Sam had his first communion. Daddy wasn't able to go because he was traveling, but Mommy went.

 

She and Daddy - and me - are so proud of them. And, I can't believe how big they are getting!
