The Best Christmas Present Ever

Grandma is CANCER FREE!!!!! That's right, the doctor told Grandma yesterday that she is cancer free. You can't imagine what that means to me - and Mommy! Grandma has fought this "evil" with nothing but dignity and grace.

I decided to share with you some of my favorite photos of Grandma and me. These were taken when she was fighting the cancer (4 years ago). I just would cuddle with her in hopes that I could make her feel better. I think I did a pretty good job!

Go Blue

I spent much of the day today watching the Michigan - Ohio State game with Aunt Kristin and Mommy. And, I got to watch it from one of the best seats in the house (and near my cheese)!

Michigan didn't win (Grandpa Mac went to Michigan), but the game was a lot closer than what Mommy and Aunt Kristin thought it would be.

Then,of course, they went to do more shopping. They didn't buy anything, but they did try on a couple of crazy hats called Facinators.

They finished the evening at a restaurant and they got the best seat in the house for the Holidazzle parade (Aunt Kristin has never been). Aunt Kristin was really hoping to avoid the cold weather - and she did. They had great seats and Aunt Kristin thought the parade was super cool.

Now they are home with me...right where they belong! It has been a great Thanksgiving so far!

The Day After

Mommy and Aunt Kristin did a lot of shopping yesterday. Napping is in the cards for today!

Black Friday

Exhausting! Mommy and Aunt Kristin went out at midnight on Black Friday (technically they shopped on Thanksgiving). To be honest, it threw off my schedule and I just didn't know what to do with myself.

Mommy and Aunt Kristin did go back out yesterday and "did some damage." I don't know what that means. Plus, I didn't see a whole lot of shopping bags when they got home yesterday. But, they had a great time anyway.

Plus, they met up with Jack's Mommy Karla for drinks, dinner and a movie. Mommy took everyone to see James Bond (2nd time Mommy has seen it). They loved it.

Mommy and Aunt Kristin say they are taking a break this morning to watch the Michigan - Ohio State game. GO BLUE!!

Thanksgiving

I have a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving...my Mommy, Daddy, Grandma and Grandpa(s), Auntie Vicki and my friends. They all love me and take care of me so well!

This year, Aunt Kristin came to see me for Thanksgiving (well, she probably came to see Mommy, but secretly I think she likes me more than her)! I got to run around the house with her yesterday - and then cuddle. I like having her here.

We also got to talk to Grandma and Grandpa by Skype. They don't think I understand what is going on, but I do. I just was tired from all the running around with my Aunt Kristin!

No turkey for me this year though...they went to Manny's steakhouse for Thanksgiving dinner. I thought that was strange, but Aunt Kristin does not like Turkey. So, why not a steak? Mommy and Kristin said it was super busy at Manny's. Dinner sure looked good.

Then, they went shopping. Yes, that's right, shopping. They only stopped at the craft store to get some stuff for Aunt Kristin. Then, they came home and played with me. But you know what, they went out again at midnight to shop. I thought they were crazy, given the weather was bad (Mommy did say there were challening driving conditions), but it is a tradition!

Fortunately for me, I could stay home and rest.

Thanksgiving Eve

I spent Thanksgiving Eve with my friends at Pet Smart. And, of course, Auntie Vicki!

Waking Up In The Arms Of...

Auntie Vicki! Yes, I fell asleep in the arms of Auntie Vicki yesterday and my Mom had to wait for me to wake up before we could leave. Mommy let me play with my friends while she went to get her hair done and run errands. I had a blast. The best part, or course, was spending time with Vicki.

I was sound asleep and the only thing that awoke me from my slumber was the dog coming out of the playroom. In fact, there were several and they were going through Puppy Training Class (just like I did a long time ago). They were bigger dogs and I was ready to play. But, Auntie Vicki wanted me to cuddle longer...so I did.

Teeth, Elections, Mommy and Me

Hi all. It has been a while since my last post, but I have been super busy. Last weekend I got my teeth cleaned. I hate going to the Vet, so I will not say it was the most enjoyable experience I had. The good news is that I didn't have to have any of my teeth pulled and no medicine! In fact, I was a little tired after the surgery, but I was ready to go the next day, especially when Mommy gave my one of my favorite treats...cheese.

The biggest event that happened this week was the 2012 election. Although I didn't get into it as much as I did four years ago, I did stay up way past my bedtime to watch the election returns. That made for a pretty rough morning the next day.

I was proud that Mommy and Daddy took the time out of their day to vote on such important issues. I am also proud of my Mommy for stating her voting positions after the fact, waiting to way in on the election after most of her friends had voted. In my Mommy's words...

"I have not commented on my views on this electikn up to this point. I beleive we are all different, yet equal. I am proud to have voted NO and am looking Forward. Vote for what you believe is right and respect others who do not share your views. Today is a day that makes me proud to live in a country that lets me freely express those views."

Mommy also spent time with many of her friends this week, including Jack's Mom Karla. In fact, Mommy was so excited when Karla suggested that they get together to have one of Mommy's favorite drinks...the Pink Punk Cosmo. Don't ask me what it is, but apparently it is some sort of drink that has cotton candy (a favorite of Mom's).

She also had the opportunity to go to the Bond film with her friends Monique and Lori. They had a great time and Mommy says that this Bond film was by far the best one.

But the best part of this week has been all the Mommy and me time I have had!
