Electrician She's Not

Odd title for today's posting, don't you think?

First I must tell you that I will not be sharing pictures with you today. Mommy is having some trouble with the cable that transfers the pictures to the computer. She thought it was the USB port, but after changing it out this afternoon, she is now back to the thought that it must be the camera cable. Bummer, because I had some really cute photos to share.

Well, Mommy and Daddy decided to tackle the outdoor lights this weekend. They needed to replace them because the people working on the siding in the winter broke several of the lights. So, Mommy put her foot down and told Daddy she was tired of looking at the news ones in the garage. They needed to get put up this weekend.

So, Daddy went to work. And, not successfully at first. Not until Mommy joined the picture. Of course she had a few words for Daddy (nagging, really) about what he wasn't doing quite right. Well, after four lights almost took four hours to put up, they decided to put the others on this morning. The next two only took a couple of hours (Mommy and Daddy stopped to talked to Chad, the neighbor). I must say they look very nice.

But, for those of you who know Mommy, Mommy was wiring the new lights. Yes, that's right. The woman who has a fear of electricity (fire mostly) was doing the wiring. How cool is that.

My mom rocks. Hopefully she will be able to figure out what is wrong with the camera cable and be able to share my pictures with you next week.

Gentlemen, Start Your Engines!

Those are the most famous words in motor sports. And, Mommy made sure I didn't miss them today. I have been watching the Indy 500 while Mommy and Daddy have been outside planting some new bushes. Mommy is rooting for the girls (she thinks Chicks Rule). I kinda like Dario, and he was doing pretty well until his recent pit stop, but never say never.

Also, Mommy tells me that it is Memorial Day weekend. The unofficial start to the summer. The weather been really nice and that means one thing around this house - watering the flowers.

Mommy and Daddy went to get flowers yesterday. I think they are pretty but I really enjoy watching Daddy water the flower the most.





















Did you catch the picture we the food all over my face? Yes, I was so excited to watch Daddy water the flowers that I didn't have time to wash my face. Seriously, how cute am I?

She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy

In the words of Kenny Chesney, I am sure Lacy will find me sexy riding around on Daddy's tractor, minus Daddy of course (no offense, but the hat is a little much).

Oh, and I can't forget Grandma. I found this photo in a album Mommy just brought home from Grandma's house. It's a little fuzzy, but cute. Mommy said that it was taken on the day of her High School graduation.

I Miss Clyde

That's right. I miss Clyde. And, Clancy misses Clyde's friend Mr. Snake.





I don't miss Clyde cuddling with Daddy (I admit I was a little jealous).



But, I did get to reclaim Grandma's quilt. I can still smell Clyde on my quilt (and on the couch just behind me).





Mommy and Daddy say I have spent the rest of the week catching up on my sleep and being cute. I really like the cute part.
