Hoppy Bunny Sunday

Today is Bunny Sunday (at least that is how we like to refer to it on our house).

Mommy was up early today, so figured something might be going on. And sure enough, she went to meet Jack, Karla and Tim for brunch.

Mommy didn't forget to bring my Easter basket for Jack. Jackson Hareing - my cousin - has a special connection to the Eater Bunny so he was able to help me out.

Mommy said everyone had a great time at brunch (and they really liked it) and that Jack really liked his Easter basket.

Of course, Jack paid for brunch.

And I can't forget to say Hoppy Bunny Sunday to Jackson Hareing. It looks like the Easter Bunny was very good to him.

Lindsey Was Here

You know one of my favorite people in the whole world is Monique, right? I'm not sure why, but I love it every time she comes over.

Well, she came over last night and brought Lindsey with here. Mommy, Monique and Lindsey were going to see the Captain America movie.

Lindsey is so much fun! She chased me all around the whole apartment. And, she fed me cheese (she had me at cheese).

I had a blast. I can't wait for them to come back.

Spring has sprung, sorta

Earlier this week we had really nice temperatures. They were so nice that Mommy opened the window in the bedroom so I could look out, smell all the smells and keep an eye on the neighborhood.

But, the weather didn't last long. In fact, we got almost a foot of snow on Friday (which has now virtally all melted).

The Vet

I had to go to the Vet this week. As all of you know, it is not the place I really want to be. And, I made sure Mommy knew I was not happy.

First, I gave her the look.

Then, I tried to hide from the Vet when she came in, but I didn't do a very good job of blending into my surroundings.

Then, I tried to shake all the medicine out of my nose (but that didn't work either).

The good thing is that the Vet told Mommy I was in perfect health. And, even my joints were in good shape (for an old man like me, I have to keep an eye on that).

Look who called...

...Jack!

Jack and Karla called Mommy and me (well, by Skype) earlier this week. But, I was confused. I thought when they called it meant that they were here in Minneapolis. So, I thought they were going to knock on the door any minute. But, Mommy had to keep telling me - and showing me - they were somewhere else.

Jack told me all about what he has been doing at the Mesa house. He has been very busy enjoying the warm weather. Mommy says they will be back in Minneapolis soon, although Jack says that I will not be the first one he visits when he comes home :-(.
