Travel

Mommy has been traveling for work the past two weeks. I was excited the first week because I got to spend all my time with my friends and wasn't so happy when Mommy picked me up. She thought it was because I was mad at her. Nope. I was upset that I was leaving my friends.

 

 

 

So I slept a lot once I got home.



But, I was confused when Mommy said I was going to see my friends again less than 48 hours after I got home from playing with them. Mommy said she was worried I would be upset with her that she was leaving again. And I was, but she always makes sure I am well taken care of when she is gone.

Of course I had a blast with my friends, but I was so excited to see Mommy. She even took some time off on Friday and she was able to spend time with me (even though I spent the majority of the time sleeping - as you can see below). Love her.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

I celebrated St. Patrick's Day with all my friends. We had a wild party at day care. Good thing Mommy was gone and didn't see all the shenanigan's!

Happy Birthday, Baby Sydney!

This week is Sydney's 12th birthday! Can you believe our little baby Sydney is now 12? Mommy can't (and quite frankly I can't either). I was so excited to see her!

Aunt Stacia and Sydney came yesterday to hang out with Mommy for Sydney's Birthday. Well actually, Aunt Stacia and Mommy had quite the day planned for Sydney.

They first took Sydney to get her make-up done. And, to get her very first set of make-up and brushes. Just like Mommy and Aunt Stacia did when they were younger!

Then they took her shopping for a new purse and clothes. This is where Sydney differs from her Mom and my Mommy. Sydney definitely does not have the tolerance, patience or the desire. Mommy and Aunt Stacia actually had to bribe her with a pretzel just to get her to try on clothes. They did find her things she liked, so why Aunt Stacia paid, Mommy and Sydney took a few selfies.

After a long day of shopping, they went to dinner. Sydney really wanted to go to the Cheesecake Factory, but it was a 2.5 hour wait. So, Mommy took her to Burger Jones (she went there with Tim, Karla and Jack a few weeks ago). They had to wait, but Sydney had her new phone with her and it kept her busy.

Sydney really enjoyed her meal - and so did Aunt Stacia!

When they finished with dinner, they came back to see me. But, I was more interested in Aunt Stacia's purse. She had something in there I really wanted, but no one could figure it out (and I'll never tell).

It was such a good day! I'm so excited for Sydney's birthday and I am so happy I got to spend it with her this year!

Haircut

I finally got a hair cut yesterday! Mommy said I was looking very, very scruffy. I think I always look handsome no matter how "scruffy" I look.

I love it when Mommy washes the sheets because she puts all the comforters on the ground and I like to snuggle up in them.

Look at that leg

Mommy has noticed something new this week. She has noticed the "one leg" over the cushion move. I sleep like this and actually find it comfortable. Mommy doesn't understand, but she sure does find it cute.
