Here, I stand before you, as a puppy who didn't quite know what was in store for him this week. But, I can say now, things couldn't have worked out any better.

Mommy and Daddy went on vacation this week to Las Vegas (we will get to that a little later) and my Aunt Angie wasn't able to take care of me (like she did the last time). So, Mommy and Daddy decided to take me to my favorite place. They figured I always came back happy from their and I was comfortable with the people (and they were right). I had a blast (thanks to Mommy and Daddy).
It was so cool! I thought I was going to Puppy Day Camp when Mom and Dad took me on Wednesday morning. And, I was going to camp. What I didn't know what that I would be staying the night. I loved it. There were so many puppies (and kitties) there. The other puppies said that their families were on spring break (I guess it is a vacation that happens in the spring). I didn't care what it was. I was just so excited to play with the other puppies. Mommy and Daddy upgraded me so that I would get some more play time and treats (boy, how I love them both). Then, I got a bath right before I left (Mommy likes me to smell all nice and fresh).
Anyways, I love my Aunt Angie and my cousin Clyde, but I will go back there any day!
Now, as for my Mommy and Daddy, they were having themselves a ball in Las Vegas.
They stayed at the Bellagio (how posh). They were upgraded (kinda like me). They had reserved a suite - but on the back side of the hotel, as the rooms that overlooked the famous fountains were much more expensive. But, much to Mommy and Daddy's surprise, upon check-in, they informed them that they had been upgraded with a room that had a partial view of the fountains. But, when they arrived in their room, they realized that basically had a full view of the fountains.

Mommy and Daddy took it easy on their first night. They had a lovely dinner at FIX (at the Bellagio) and then headed down to Freemont Street. I guess this is where a lot of the old Casino's are located. Mommy and Daddy had a great time - and Mommy even won $14 at the Penny Slots (hi-roller, I know).

Mommy and Daddy spent the next couple of days shopping, getting pampered at the salon, gambling, eating, sitting out at the pool, calling to check on me and taking in the sites (not necessarily in that order). They said all of the casino's were really busy, as the first weekend of the NCAA basketball tournament was going on. Mommy and Daddy both put money down a couple of teams (Mommy lost, Daddy won).
The Sports Book at Caesar's
Mommy and Daddy even made a special trip over to the Wynn to visit a place Grandpa McHugh would like...The Ferrari Store. I know he really would have liked it.

Outside the Wynn

Daddy took this picture outside of the Wynn. Mommy told me this was once a big and famous hotel. But, Mr. Trump and some investors purchased the hotel and land around it, tore it down, and are now building a luxury hotel and condos on the site.

Later that night, Mommy and Daddy went back to the Wynn for dinner and a Broadway musical.

They finished the night back at the Bellagio and took pictures of the Atrium. Apparently, they change out the theme frequently. This time the theme was "Spring!"

I am home now and resting comfortably. Mommy and Daddy were so excited to see me - and I was excited to see them. The people who had been taking care of me over the past few days were sad to see me go. I was too - but I know that Mommy and Daddy will take me back their again.
Oh, and for all of you who were wondering, yes, Mommy did bring home a couple of new purses.
Until the next time...
