Day 20 - Post COVID-19 City-Wide Lockdown

Today is Grandma’s birthday! Happy Birthday, Grandma Mac!

I hope you just took it easy like I did today.

Finally, the statements of the day.

Day 19 - Post COVID-19 City-Wide Lockdown

We are four days past the move and in pretty good shape. Just the pictures to be hung and a few more statements to be sorted. Mommy ran a few errands and caught up on her work email. She was also able to spend the vending catching up with a work colleague.

And these are the statements of the day.

Day 18 - Post COVID-19 CityWide Lockdown

It’s Monday and three days post move. We were hoping for the handy person to come and hang our artwork today, but they needed to reschedule. Mommy will feel like everything is back to normal once the artwork is up.

Auntie Linda and Uncle Fernando stopped by today to pick up the remaining boxes for their move later in the month. Mommy was able to cross many things off her task list okay including changing addresses on major documents, ordering a couple of things for the new place and trying out the new stove (big given it is built into the countertop).

All-in-all a productive day.

Mommy is back to making a statement of the day (now that they are all unpacked). And, she’s back to wearing a mask for our walks as the National Institutes of Health still recommends a mask for fully vaccinated people because of the prevalence of the Delta variant.

Day 17 - Post COVID-19 City-Wide Lockdown

Today, Mommy tacked the statements. All I can tell you is it took six hours and she is not finished (because it’s not perfect and the way she had it organized before).

Me, I assumed my normal position.

It did stop raining today so we were able to get out for a walk.

Oh and here are a few more photos of our view.

Day 16 - Post COVID-19 City-Wide Lockdown

It’s day two in our new place and I sure gave Mommy a run for her money last night. She thought I was all, good, but I ended up being pretty restless. In turn, Mommy is now completely exhausted.

I slept though Mommy rearranging the closets and unpacking the rest of the boxes. Mommy will tackle the statements tomorrow.

I woke up at one point, but I could barely keep my head up.

I also slept through the tornado siren and the bad storms we had this afternoon.

At one point, Mommy grabbed me to take me to shelter, but I kept on sleeping.

Right after the storms rolled through, we had a visitor. Someone took our router out of the apartment so we didn’t have internet. Now we do.
