Fat Tuesday

It was Fast Tuesday this past week. And in Chicago, they celebrate with a Polish pastry called at Paczki. Essentially it is a fried dough filled with cream or jelly.

Mommy wasn't impressed, but I sure was.

King of the Mountain

It's one of my favorite days...change the sheets on the bed day!

Escaping Snowmegeddon

Mommy had to take a quick trip to Florida this week. She - and I - was worried she wouldn't make it back on her Friday flight  (it didn' get cancelled and it landed 20 minutes early).

Mommy stayed at this cool hotel that was really a resort. She had her own "villa." Look at the view from her balcony; pretty cool.

Of course that meant I got to play with my friends. The ladies told Mommy they adjusted some things to see if I'd stop taking a bath on my water and eating more.

First, they put me in a new kennel. That kennel also had a different set up, which allowed them to hang a water bucket  (kind of like Dad's water bottle). They also taped down my food bowl. Success! I ate more and I didn't play in my water.

As I mentioned before, Mommy got home last night. So she missed the storm. But, she got to experience it today on her way to pick me up. The streets right around my boarding facility had not been plowed. So it was challenging.

But success! Mommy pushed through it to bring me home.

Snow Day

I've spent the entire snow day doing this:

That groundhog, Phil, saw his shadow this week. And boy was he right. The snow has arrived.
