Below is a note that Auntie Vicki wrote to Mommy and Daddy about my day today.
"Auntie Vicki got to work at 11 a.m. Thursday only to find Cosmo in the arms of another! Crushed as she was, she put on a brave face, went into the playroom and confronted the girl. Same old story, Cosmo was lonely, I wasn't around. Auntie Vicki was in the playroom that very afternoon, for the rest of the day. Cosmo is back in the arms of Auntie. All is NOW alright with the world."
Oops...Auntie Vicki caught me...but it is true...I'm lonely without her.

This One's For Karla
Yes, today my post is all about Karla. Karla is Jack's Mom. She and my Mom are really good friends. Anyway, Karla was telling Mommy today that I have not been updating my blog enough. Mommy let Karla know that I have a very busy social life and don't always have the time to jump on the computer and update my status. Now, I have been asking Mommy and Daddy for an iPhone (now I'm waiting for the iPhone 5) so that it would be easier for me to post my every move - at any time - to no avail.
Anyway, I have been spending the last couple of weeks doing the same thing I normally do...hanging out with my friends at day camp and enjoying my time at home with Mommy and Daddy.
Mommy and Daddy - on the other hand - have been very busy. Daddy has been traveling and when Mommy isn't at work, she has been out with her friends. That includes Karla.
In fact, Mommy has been hanging out with Karla. A couple of weeks ago they were at Pittsburgh Blue - one of their favorite places - for a little happy hour. When out of nowhere, Elvis made an appearance. Now, for those of you who don't know, Mommy loves Elvis!
This was a strange sight indeed, but that wasn't all. Elvis had invited Liberace! Yes, Liberace. He was quite fond of Karla.
I don't know about you, but Mommy and Karla seem to attract the oddest characters.
On a side note, Mommy and Daddy had dinner with Karla and Tim (and Jack) a couple of weeks back. Mommy had to bring dessert, so she decided to bring DQ Dilly Bars. Mommy and Karla discovered that Daddy had never had one before. Daddy kinda looks annoyed that Mommy is taking his picture...but she was able to capture this "first" on film.
But enough about Karla, Mommy and Daddy and more about me.
Mommy found me on the counter again! Can you figure out how I got there? If so, let Mommy know so she can find a way to make sure it doesn't happen again.
Oh, thanks to the ladies who take of me yesterday. They came and got me out of day camp yesterday so I could have a bath (and trim my nails...they were getting to long).

A Weekend in NYC
Yes, Mommy and Daddy were in NYC this weekend. Me? I was having fun playing with all my friends - and Auntie Vicki - at Day Camp.
Mommy and Daddy dropped me off at Day Camp on Friday. I thought it was like any other Friday. But, I should have picked-up on a couple of obvious things.
1. Mommy and Daddy don't usually drop me off at Day Camp together.
2. We left the house with several bags - other than mine of course.
I didn't realize they weren't coming to get me until lights out at Day Camp. Then, I figured it out. But it was fine with me...I love hanging out with my friends!
Anyways, Mommy and Daddy arrived in NYC on Friday afternoon. They first had to survive the taxi ride to the hotel. Both Mommy and Daddy felt really queezie after the ride was over. Once at the hotel, they had to check their bags because the room wasn't quite ready. That's OK...Mommy wanted to go shopping on 5th Avenue. Plus, the desk attendant felt bad that the room wasn't ready that she gave Mommy and Daddy $90 worth of free drinks at the hotel bar. Mommy knew those would come in handy later.
Mommy and Daddy headed out to do some shopping and realize they hadn't had lunch yet. So they decided to go back to their favorite place near Rockefeller Plaza...Bill's Burger.
Now that they had something in their tummy's, Mommy and Daddy headed out to do a little power shopping. Mommy went to Henri Bendel's while Daddy went to Tourneau to look at watches. Daddy also stopped into a couple of other watch shops while waiting for Mommy. Mommy picked up a couple of cool accessories (I've seen them and they are pretty rockin'). They headed back to the hotel to check out their room and rest before going to their favorite steak place in the US - Benjamin.
While there, Mommy and Daddy had a waiter that kept saying "why not?" after they would order something or ask a question. Pretty funny.
Daddy got the surf and turf while Mommy got the Fillet Mignon. Mommy also decided to get some peas and onions (in case you didn't know, Mommy loves peas!). She said they were fantastic.
Daddy was full - and so was Mommy - but Daddy decided to get the Apple Strudel dessert. Mommy decided she wanted to "drink" hers, so she ordered a Baily's on the rocks.
The waiter was so eager to take Mommy and Daddy's picture that they finally decided they should let him.
The food was excellent and Mommy and Daddy decided to go for a walk to "walk off all of the calories" from the meal. They made a stop at Bryant Park and then headed over to Times Square and Rockefeller Plaza before heading back to the hotel for a little night cap.

Mommy and Daddy slept in on Saturday. That's amazing, considering Mommy does not sleep well at hotels. Daddy attributes Mommy's sleeping success to the white noise machine he just bought her for traveling. Mommy agrees.
Anyways, they went to a late breakfast before heading out for the day. As you can see, Mommy ordered "the breakfast of champions" breakfast.
Mommy and Daddy had time to kill before going to their matinee Broadway show. So, they stopped into St. Patrick's cathedral. It was beautiful.
After the Cathedral, they walked over to their show at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. The line was long and Daddy was saving their place in line. Mommy - believe it or not - was too hot to stand in the sun (she was wearing all black).
They saw "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying." It starred Daniel Radcliffe and John Larroquette. Daniel of course is Harry Potty. John was some dude on an 80's sitcom named Night Court. Daddy is a big fan of John's. Anyways, Mommy and Daddy really enjoyed the show. As they said "who knew Harry Potter could sing and dance."
Mommy and Daddy had a great time. Once the show was over, Mommy and Daddy headed back to the hotel. But not before taking a picture of a big yellow bear. Now, this had caught Mommy and Daddy's eye the day before but they had no idea what it was. They still don't. But they did see it in the window at Christie's Auction House with the title "Post-War Contemporary - Fischer." They are guessing that Fischer is the Artist.
For dinner that night, Mommy took Daddy to a little Italian restaurant right around the corner from the hotel. Mommy ate there when she was in NYC on business last year. Daddy loved it. They had a few appetizers, lasagna, spaghetti and a bottle of wine. Daddy said it was Yummy!
After dinner, Mommy and Daddy decided to do something they hadn't done before. They decided to go to the "Top of the Rock." That is 30 Rockefeller Center. But before going, they decided to have dessert at Bill's. Mommy and Daddy had couple of shakes and a cupcake.
Now that they were full, they headed over for their appointment to visit the Top of the Rock. Mommy and Daddy got in the elevator to go up 67 floors. The cool part was the elevator had a glass ceiling so they could watch the elevator go to the top. Once there, they got a 360 degree view of the city and the surrounding state(s). Pretty cool.
Mommy and Daddy headed back to the hotel for another night cap (and to use more of their free drinks on the W) and headed off to bed. They had to get up early and catch a flight home.
They arrived home on Sunday afternoon, but decided to take care of the chores around the house and catch up on sleep before getting me today at Day Camp.
I had so much fun that by today I was pooped. This is how Mommy and Daddy found me today...cuddle up in the corner of the play room sleeping while the other puppies (big and small)played around me.
