Just Like Old Times

Mommy and I visited Aunt Kristin, Uncle Eugene and FAQ this past weekend. And, it was just like I remembered.

And then discovering we had a tree in the backseat (and I didn't know).

But the best part of the whole weekend...spending quality time with my Mommy (and family).

I love coming to Auntie Kristin and Uncle Eugene's house. I get to spend a lot of time outside. It reminds me of being back in Minnesota at the house I used to live at when I was younger.

Happy Thanksgiving

Mommy and I spent most of Thanksgiving walking, spending time with friends and relaxing.

We spent about and hour on the Riverwalk. I was really tired when I got home.

Mommy had dinner with part of the Framily at Shaw's  (now a Thanksgiving tradition).

For 10 years, I've been watching NASCAR races with my Mommy.

Mommy acquired her love of racing from Grandpa Mac. And Grandpa Mac loved the Intimidator (Dale Earnhardt). Mommy loved him too and naturally fell in love with Dale Jr. Since his early days in the Busch series, Mommy has been cheering him along. In fact, there were many times when I thought Mommy was cheering for me when she was really cheering for Jr. But, she got a kick out of me running my own race in the basement when that would happen.

Today was Jr.'s last race (well as a full time driver). And we were watching.

Thank you for all the great times. Race day is one of the few where Mommy took a few hours away from other things and spend it with me - and cheer you on.

No More Pictures

I love my Mommy, but sometimes I get annoyed with all the pictures. Especially when she takes them before I'm ready to start my day.

Rise and Shine

This is a typical morning in our house.

First, Mommy finds me snuggled in between pillows.

 Then I really "awake".

Then I stand guard over Mommy's wardrobe for the day.

Then I get worried and start to shake because I know Mommy is going to leave me for the day.

And then the process starts all over again the next day.
