Before and After

I finally got that long-awaited haircut I was looking for. Yes, not only am I "cooler", but you can actually see my face. That is important - of course - because I am one cute pup and everyone wants to see my big beautiful eyes. Plus, I use them to my advantage when I want something (like cuddles from the ladies at Day Camp or a treat from Mommy and Daddy).

Keeping a close eye...

...on Mommy and Daddy. I like to make sure everything is OK when they are outside working in the yard!

The Last Day of Vacation

Today is Mommy's last full day of vacation (if you don't count the weekend). She and I have just been hanging out in the basement (where it is much cooler). I must say I've really enjoyed spending time with Mommy all week. It has been so much fun! I will miss her next week when I go back to Day Camp. But, I must say that I miss my friends - and Auntie Vicki!

Fireworks

It has become a tradition to spend July 4 with Karla and Tim. And, this year was no different. They went to their go-to Fireworks place (the top of the parking ramp at Southdale Mall).

Gassy

Today started out like any other day. Breakfast, cuddling with Mommy and watering the plants.

But, something wasn't quite right when Mommy came in from watering the plants. The look on her face was priceless, but not in a good way. But, I guess everything was OK because we went in the basement (to keep cool). But, a little while later, Mommy went back outside and came back in and called the Gas Company. Mommy was pretty sure we had a gas leak.

I must say I was impressed. The gas man came to the house quickly and sure enough, he found a gas leak at the meter. Thank goodness he didn't detect any gas in the house. So, Mommy and I were safe inside while he took care of the leak. But, I did keep a close eye on him...just in case.

The Gas Man told Mommy that she did the right thing by calling. I agree. Mommy was very brave, especially because she is afraid of gas. It is a good thing we got it fixed because the only fireworks I want to see today are from our neighbors...not our house.

Happy Independence Day!

Happy Birthday to Me!

Today is my fifth birthday. That's right...I'm five today.

As usual, Mom made me put on this ridiculous hat so she could take pictures of me. I guess I can deal with it since my reward is staying home with Mommy all day today.
