Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween! This year's costume...an Octopus.

I Mommy has always chosen my costume, but I put a stop to that this year. I picked this one all by myself. The legs bounce when I walk - so that makes it super cool!

I had party at Day Care yesterday. There were lots of cute costumes, but probably not one was cuter than me.

What was better than my costume? Getting to eat ice cream. But, I made a huge mess and it took Mommy more than an hour last night to get all the ice cream out of my fur (I was really sticky).

After that, Mommy thought it was best if we take some photos. She decided to put on her butterfly wings.

I stayed home today while Mommy went to work. She said that not a lot of people dressed up, but Mommy thought it would be fun if she sported a little holiday spirit. I really like the pumpkins.

I just rested all day because I knew that I would be going out Trick-or-Treating with Jack tonight. I was so excited. I've actually never been out Trick-or-Treating before. I used to help Mommy pass out candy. Not this year.

Mommy thought it would be cool if she were a Shark (to go along with my Octopus). Can you see her fin?

Mommy made sure everyone was prepared...she brought headbands for all. Jack thought it was best that Karla wear the pumpkins.
Mommy chose to wear the ghosts because their color was "reflective."

Jack, he was Thomas the Train. And, he made sure he had the biggest pumpkin for candy collecting!

I had the best time Trick-or-Treating with Jack. I got to meet so many people and see so many kids in costumes. And, I got a lot of exercise. We went to a lot of houses.

Before I wrap-up my post, I thought it would be nice to share with you photos of my friends and family on this holiday. I hope they had a great day like I did.

Mommy had dinner with Karla and Jack on Friday. I was so jealous. I really like hanging out with Jack, but it wasn't in the cards that night. But, I am looking forward to trick-or-treating with him this week!

I was so excited to see Auntie Vicky this morning! I haven't seen her - and she hasn't seen me - in a few weeks. Auntie Vicky told Mommy she couldn't let it go this long ever again without seeing each other. I concur.

Mommy and Me Weekend

I've had the pleasure of spending the entire weekend with my Mommy. It's been so awesome.

She came home a little later than normal on Friday night, which first had me worried that she had plans with her friends, but she didn't. So, we ran around the apartment a bit. She caught me - just long enough - to snap a picture.

We then took a walk and came back for a little dinner (I did get some cheese). Then we snuggled up on the couch and watched a movie - Zero Dark Thirty. We have seen it before, but Mommy knows I like it a lot so she was happy to watch it again with me.

On Saturday, we started our day by cleaning the apartment (that usually happens on Saturday morning). I usually just hang out - watching Mommy do all the hard work, but occasionally I will pitch in with cleaning the floors.

After cleaning, Mommy took me to Lulu & Luigi's. I thought I was getting my haircut, but I found out I wasn't. I was there to pick out my Halloween costume and a new winter coat. Trust me, I was not thrilled to be trying on the costumes and the coats, but I people in the store thought I looked pretty darn cute.

I was happy to be back in the car headed home after the whole ordeal, but am happy to say I found two things I really like.

I won't share with you the Halloween costume (that will be a surprise), but I will share my fancy new coat.

Mommy did drop me off at home for a little while so she could run a few errands (places I can't go). She got caught in a rain/sleet/ice downpour. She was none to happy about being all wet - but I think she looked pretty darn cute!

Last night we just watched TV - and the finale of The White Queen. Mommy and I really got into this mini-series on STARZ. It is really good.

Today, I'm looking forward to Football and NASCAR. It doesn't get much better than that.

Party

Mommy and I have had guests over the past two weekends. First, it was Tim, Karla and Tom.

Yesterday, it was Bernadette, Pablo and Monica. Pablo and Monica are our neighbors and Mommy used with work with Pablo. It's kinda nice having people here Mommy knows.

Anyway, Mommy served lots of good food and I was none-to-pleased that I was not allowed to eat off of our guests plates.

So I kept trying to get to the cheese on the counter, but no luck.

Total bummer!

This is the best spot for me when Mommy is changing the sheets on my bed (well, it's really hers, but I like to think it's mine).
