Thankful

Mommy and I spent the Thanksgiving holiday at Aunt Kristin and Uncle Eugene's house. We went to take care of Jackson Hareing, while Kristin and Eugene were at the Bears/Packers game in Wisconsin.

I kept a close eye on Jackson at all times.

I also made sure that the squirrels did not eat all the bird food.

I also managed to cuddle with Kristin  and get plenty of rest.

I sure needed the rest. Because when Mommy, Kristin and Eugene went to see the Bond film, Mommy put me in my crate so I wouldn't get into any trouble when they were gone. But, I had different plans. I escaped.from my crate. They still can't figure.put how I managed to unzip the crate (and I have no plans to share). I didn't get into trouble. I just don't like confined spaces.

Anyway, thanks for having us. Until next time...

Happy Thanksgiving

Today is a day to give thanks for all you have. I'm most thankful for Mommy. I don't know what I'd do without her.

I'm also thankful that Auntie Kristin let's me play with Jackson Hareing. I'm having so much fun with him today.

Jack's Visit

Jack (and Karla) came to visit me and Mommy this week. It was super special because Mommy took time off of work to take Jack and Karla to some the sites here in Chicago.

First up, the zoo.

Next up, the Lego store.  Karla took all the pictures there. Mommy was too busy helping Jack pick out his Lego pieces (an early birthday present from Mommy and me).

Then, family dinner.

Of course, Jack paid the bill.

jack was tired. He walked the whole day. So, I went to bed with him. He needed to rest because Mommy and Karla were going to take him on another walking adventure.

The next morning, Jack and I hung out while Mommy and Karla got ready to take Jack to thther Museum of Science and Industry. Jack told Mommy not to forget to brush her teeth before leaving.

Once at t he museum,  Jack got to experience planes, trains, automobiles, mine shafts, tornadoes, mazes and more. They were there the whole day.

Luckily they made it home to watch Gold Rush (Jack's favorite show).

We all went to bed after Gold Rush. We were tired from the day.

Jack and I spent Saturday watching guys hang off the side of the building wash windows. He also took me for a long walk.

Before leaving, Mommy took Jack to play Pool. He remembered playing last year when he came and he wanted to do it again.

Mommy took Jack and Karla back to the airport in the train.

Mommy and I really enjoyed having Jack and Karla here. We miss them!

Peek-a-Boo

Hello there! I'm snuggled in. And need to be. It turned cold here this weekend. I felt bad for Mommy because she went to the Northwestern football game yesterday. She was bundled up before she left and she came back very cold!

Going to the game brought back memories for Grandpa Mac. Did you know he grew up just around the corner? Yep, he grew up in Evanston.  And the Northwestern is in Evanston. Mommy said she had to take a few trains to get there, but she had a really great time.

I'm so proud of her. She doesn't let much get her down, but the last few years have been quite a change for her - and me. But she has picked herself up and kept on going. She does so many cool things. While I love having her home, I'm happy she gets out and experiences life!

Da Bears

I'm so excited.  Mommy went to.the Bears, Vikings game today at Soldier field. She has never been to Soldier Field before. And, she had never seen an NFL game in a non-dome stadium before (she always watched games in the Metrodome in Minnesota).

Of course, Mommy made sure I was prepared for the game as well. She got me my own jersey (I have a Vikings one too).

Mommy took the train over to the field. She didn't like that so much as a strange man "hit on her. His pick up line was "I like girls." Mommy's response "I like girls too." He left her alone after that.

Anyway, she got to the field and found her seat. She sat in the North end zone. She had really great seats.

Even though the Bears lost, Mommy had a great time.

As for me, I was tuckered out from cheering so hard. Good thing Mommy is now home and cuddling with me
