Mid-Afternoon Magic

I recently took an afternoon to visit the theatre to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

I convinced myself that the theatre would be pretty empty as it was in the middle of a school and work day and that I had obtained a front row ticket with ease.

I was wrong. The theatre was packed, many wearing "costumes" of their favorite characters or houses. I arrived early enough to capture a few picture is the beautiful interior of the theatre. Normally, I do not sit on the floor (am usually in a balcony box seat to the side).

The show was magical. I recommend that you have more than a surface understanding of the story of Harry Potter. It requires knowledge.

I treated myself to a Happy Hour after the show. Even the cocktails were Harry Potter themed. And of course I had to get the balls!

A trip into the loop these days also means a quick stop into the Target to shop for ornaments for my sister. I snapped the picture below on my way home from Target (with a 20 pound bag on my shoulder full of items to be seen on trees in 2025).
