Merry Christmas - Belated

Christmas was definitely different in our household this year. I spent my Christmas with Auntie Vicki and all of my friends at day camp. Mommy and Daddy went to see Grandma and Grandpa in Texas. They wanted to bring me, but were unsure how I would travel on the plane. I sure missed everyone, but Auntie Vicki took very good care of me.

So, I thought I would start at the beginning of the holiday season this year. Jack came to visit me a few weeks before Christmas. He - and his parents - were headed to Arizona for Christmas (to visit his Grandma and Grandpa), so he wanted to see me before he left (at least that is what I am telling myself). Jack has changed so much since the last time I saw him on Halloween. He is now walking and he is able to feed himself. How cool. Isn't he just so cute?

I also was able to spend some time with Santa before Christmas. He told me that he wished the other dogs he visited with were more like me (I think it is because I am so photogenic).

Then I spent time cuddling with Daddy before he took me to day camp (and to spend 5 days with my friends at my favorite place).

Then, Mommy and Daddy headed to Texas for the holidays. They spent time hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa. Mommy made Daddy's favorite cookies, made Swedish meatballs for Xmas eve dinner and spent time taking Grandma shopping for some new clothes.

They also spent time opening gifts on Christmas. Grandpa liked the game and weather station we got him. Grandma liked all of the sleepwear we got her (and my picture with Santa).

Doesn't Mommy look funny?

Mommy and Daddy also got some really nice gifts from Aunt Kristin and Uncle Eugene. But, I wanted to share with you my personal favorites from their holiday pictures.

1. A New Grandma Quilt. Grandma made Mommy a quilt for Christmas. In fact, it is a Christmas quilt. Look at all of the vibrant colors. I can't wait to sleep on this next holiday season.

2. "You'll Shoot Your Eye Out" T-shirt. This was an attempt by Daddy to recognize his favorite Christmas movie. Thank god TNT continuously runs the movie for 24 hours starting on Christmas Eve.

I had a great Christmas even though I didn't spend it with Mommy and Daddy. I am now making up for lost time...Mommy and Daddy are now on vacation through the beginning of the year.

Mommy and Daddy Are Home

Mommy and Daddy have been in Texas celebrating Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa. Auntie Vicki took good care of me while they were gone, but I really missed them. I was surprised to see them tonight...but I am glad to be home.

Mommy says I can share with you pictures from Christmas...but she wants to go to bed now so she says I have to get off the computer until tomorrow.

Snow, snow and more snow

We had a good old fashion snow storm yesterday!

What did I do? I decided to take a long nap.

And help Mommy bake some cookies (I really enjoyed the texture of the butter wrapper)!

It was just a great day to stay inside and enjoy the comfort of home.

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

Today is Daddy's birthday. He would like to thank all of those who sent him birthday wishes today, especially Grandma and Grandpa Mac for the Popcorn (me too...I love the cheese flavored kind) and the "girls" who left Daddy a singing "voicemail" this evening!

And because I think I'm cute, I have to share with you pictures Mommy took of me over the weekend. I'm wearing her new ear muffs (grandma and grandpa would be so proud). They are purple (my favorite color) and furry. How do I look?
