Day 260 - COVID-19 2020

My side eye was strong last night, realizing our long four-day weekend was over and that Monday was going to be here in a blink of an eye.

Today actually turned out better than expected. We were under a slight chance for lake effect snow and we didn’t get any! So that means my end of the day was normal.

I spent the rest of the day catching up from the weekend.

Mommy resumed her daily weekday schedule; one full of back-to-back meetings with little time for anything, including lunch. But she did make sure to make time to capture her daily statements.

Day 259 - COVID-19 2020

They call this Sunday Funday. But today was more like Sunday Downday. Mommy tried to relax today. It is the only day of the four-day weekend she didn’t ha e something going on.

she folded laundry. Did more laundry. Cooked my chicken. Unpacked boxes. Started a new book (Former President Obama’s new book...Mommy has a real thing for political books). Made dinner. Had a drink. Oh, and retried the most thoughtful gift from Nella.

A bag full of cotton candy and candy cane Jo Jo’s (an advent calendar’s worth). Auntie Nella sure does know how to put a smile on Mommy’s face.

Now, to the rest of the pictures Mommy took today.

Chicken!

Too busy looking at my chicken!

Finally, the jewelry statement  of the day (don’t think you could miss the face mask statement of the day).

Day 258 - COVID-19 2020

Today was chore day. You know what that means...me just supervising (when not sleeping).

The weather was nice today. So Mommy and Rachel made the trek to the honey hole and then had lunch at RL. Rachel wanted the vegetable salad with chicken (best salad in the city). The Bellini’s and fries are also a must.

After lunch, Mommy and Rachel went to Nordstrom to find Rachel a new coat (she gave away all her winter coats before moving to Florida, so a new one is a must). Mommy ran into one of her all time favorites (the nutcracker).

Mommy spent the rest of the afternoon with me. We unpacked all our deliveries and then watched the Harry Potter films on TV.

And I can’t forget the statements today.

Day 257 - COVID-19 2020

It’s a Turkey hangover (not really, but that sounded pretty good)

Mommy had lots of chores to do around the house on this Black Friday. It is shocking that none of them were shopping related.

Mommy did take a long walk this afternoon and she headed over the the Field’s windows (will always be Field’s  to her) so she could take pictures for Grandma.

Mommy got a call from work, so she had to get home to work on an urgent matter.

So at least she was able to get out for a bit (oh and she shipped Christmas presents to a grandma and Grandpa too).

Mommy opted to no jewelry statements today. Just a hat.
