Nashville

Mommy was in Nashville this past week on business. I remember Mommy went there several years ago on business, but she was only there for one night.

This time she was there for a few days and was able to experience the city a bit.

She went to Broadway, had some authentic southern bbq and her first fried green tomato.

Me, I hung out with my friends. But of.course. that made me tired, so I came home and slept.

I'm Really Good at Laying Around

Mommy says I'm really good at just laying around.

I pop my head up to keep an eye on Mommy.

Clearly Mommy doesn't understand how great it feels to just hang out. Those that know her well know she doesn't sit still.

Birthday Wishes for Mommy

Happy Birthday to Mommy.

Her work colleagues decorated her office in the 80s - mixed with a bit of hair band and candy!

Someone even bought her "cotton candy home decor."

They even bought props for pictures.

Mommy also spent tine at the Sugar Factory (one of her faves) with Katya, Charlotte, David and Elizabeth.

And had dinner with Ali, Linda and Fernando.

But it wouldn't be a birthday without a photo. But I wasn't cooperative.

But Mommy finally got one (but had to hold my head up).

Laying it on Thick

This week I worked hard at making Mommy feel guilty for leaving me at home while she went to work. I'd say it had the desired effect.

I felt pretty bad about making her feel guilty. So I cuddled with her a lot to make up for it.
