Start to Finish

The week started off with bad weather. Although, it wasn't supposed to be that way. Mommy went to work on Monday thinking it was going to rain. Instead, she walked out to snow (see it in her hair?).

The weather got a bit better in the middle of the week, but I was frankly too tired to care. So tired in fact, that I slept in Mommy's arms all the way to day camp.

But by the end of the week, things were looking up. I got to spend time with Auntie Vicky before she went on vacation and Mommy got to have dinner with Karla and Jack. And you know what, they sat outside on the patio!

So, the week wrapped up better than it started!

Another Wild Weather Week

Wow, for the second week in a row, we have had an end-of-the-week snow storm. But, the week didn't start out that way.

At one point, Mommy left the door open while we waited for her friend Darla to arrive (she took lots of Mommy's old clothes and shoes for a garage sale).

But just a few days later, we had a full-on-storm. It took Mommy three hours to get home on Thursday.

And things were so bad on Friday morning that Mommy decided to work from home. Mainly because it snowed more overnight and the plow went by this morning and plowed her in (3 ft. of snow at the end of the driveway). Our plow didn't come until late in the morning, but by then Mommy was in the groove and decided to stay with me the rest of the day.

Plus, who could resist this face?

I did get a bit upset with Mommy during the day because she was working and I wanted her to play with me. So, I would hop up into her chair when she would get up.

Mommy was not pleased, but she really couldn't stay mad a me very long.

But, I hope that this doesn't become a pattern. Not because I don't want to spend time with Mommy, but because I am ready for winter to be over.

A Nice Break with Jack's Mommy

Mommy got to spend a couple of hours with Jack's Mommy this week. They went to a new restaurant, Green Valley Kitchen. Jack's Mommy and Daddy went to dinner there last weekend and Karla thought Mommy would like it.

And she did. They had a few cocktails, flatbread pizza (yes, Mommy did eat the green stuff on the pizza) and a couple of desserts.

Plus, Mommy was able to give Karla a gift I got for Jack. I can't wait to hear how Jack liked it.

An Evening with Friends

Mommy met up with Auntie B and a few other familiar faces last week. I told Mommy to say hi to Auntie B, Rich, Amy and Darci.

A Day with Katie

Mommy and Katie got together last week for a little food, shopping and - of course - friendship.

First stop, Hell's Kitchen. They had Strawberry Mimosa's to start, followed by a little brunch. But notice, Mommy ordered her favorite...French Fries.

They shopped a little (for crazy-colored shoes and strange hats).

And they wrapped it all up with a cocktail and dessert. Mommy and Katie both had a great time!

Mommy's Back from Cleveland

Mommy was in Cleveland on business this week. I missed her terribly. In fact, Auntie Vicky told Mommy that I had an upset tummy yesterday. I did. I was worried that Mommy hadn't come to pick me up. I had been at day care a really long time.

But, I was so happy to see her today!

This was when I first spotted her.

Then, I couldn't get to her fast enough.

But I didn't want to leave Auntie Vicky.

But it was time to go home.

But, I did get to do my favorite thing when I got home...go through Mommy's luggage.

Before I went to sleep. A very deep sleep.

It's Grandpa Mac's Birthday

Today is my Grandpa's birthday! He is taking Grandma out for dinner to celebrate.

I am choosing to celebrate Grandpa's birthday by posting some of my favorite pictures of him (even with Mommy, Aunt Kristin and Grandma).
