Today was definitely a Monday. Mommy had to go to the doctor today (regular appointment). We don’t live too far from the doctor, so Mommy was surprised to find herself in a traffic jam. She couldn’t understand why all the cars (especially given less people are physically working in an office at this time). Finally, when Mommy got up to her turn, she realized what was going on. Almost all the cars were going to the COVID testing site. Mommy couldn’t believe the traffic. Mommy mentioned it to the nurse and the nurse talked about Monday being a very busy day for testing. The running theory is that people realize their weekend activities might have been a little too risky, hence the test.
Mommy can also report that the clinics are busy (at least where she goes). She said it appeared that the number of people in the building appeared to be at pre-COVID levels.
Once she got home, she got on calls and just recently stopped working for the night. What a busy day.
