OMG!

It is not everyday you see an Oscar Winner, let alone two. But, that is exactly what happened to Mommy and Daddy today.

They were at the Ridgedale Macy's. For those of you who don't know where that is, it is in Minnetonka, Minnesota (just outside Minneapolis). Daddy as paying for his things at the counter when Mommy happened to look up and recognize a couple of folks shopping in the same department. It was Frances McDormand and Joel Cohen.

For those of you who don't know who they are, they are Oscar Winners. She won for her role in Fargo and he and his brother Ethan have won many times for such films as Fargo and No Country for Old Men. They are also known for O Brother, Where Art Thou, Raising Arizona and Barton Fink.

Yes, that's right. They were just shopping for belts at Macy's. They happen to be in town filming the new Cohen brothers movie. Very cool!

On another note, Lacey was back at Day Camp this week. I was so excited to see her. Her Mommy had to have surgery and she hasn't been feeling super great. So, Lacey has been home taking care of her. But, lucky for me, her Mommy called to see if I was going to be there this week and I was! So, she brought Lacey in! I have really missed Lacey!

Just Another Week at the Ring House!

Hi everyone. I don't want you to think that my week was ordinary, because it wasn't. There was a lot happening this week.

I went to day camp and met a new puppy named Lexi. Now, Lexi was very nice and I really enjoyed playing with her. But, much to my dismay, the ladies sent the following note home with my Mom:

"Cosmo was enamored with a cute little puppy name Lexi. She played along for awhile. I think Cosmo's heart was broken. He needs ice cream tonight."

Now, you would think that I feel in love with Lexi that day. But, I didn't. I admit that I might have flirted a little, but my heart does belong to Lacy!

I want to send big birthday wishes to Belle. Mommy and Daddy went to her first birthday party today! Can you believe she is one?

She is getting soooo big (and cute)!

Mommy and Daddy said I would have really liked the party. They said that there were lots of kids there (and a dog named Kirby). But, I was glad to hear that Mommy and Daddy got to see baby Korissa and Katrina!

As for me you ask...well, I stayed home and watched the Vikings win the first game of the season! Finally. I think it was because I was wearing my Vikings collar today!

I Love My House!

Hi everyone! Do you realize it has been a year since I have been with Mommy and Daddy? September 9, 2007, I came to live with my Mommy and Daddy. I was very scared because it was the first time I was away from my brother's and sisters - and the Nona - who helped bring me into the world.

Well, I am so glad Nona picked Mommy and Daddy for me! They are wonderful! I know they love me a lot - and they spoil me. Everyone says it - and I know it.

Oh - the biggest news of the week (besides mine, of course) is that Tim and Karla got married! You remember Tim and Karla. They have been over to visit and play with me before. Congratulations!

Too much excitement this week. So, today, I am just going to hang out with my Daddy and watch football! That's if I can stay awake...

Tired

Hi Everyone. I am super tired today. I have had a busy weekend. Mommy came home really late on Friday night (or I should say Saturday morning). Of course, I wanted to play with her when she got home - but she was tired. Plus, Mommy and Daddy spent most of the day home with me yesterday (when they are home, I like to run around and play a lot). I haven't had much of a chance to catch-up on my sleep since I went to Day Camp n Friday. So, I told Mommy to take a few pictures of me so that you could at least see me this week!

My Weekend Adventure

I am just back from Grandma and Grandpa's house. That's right, Mommy took me to see Grandma and Grandpa.

I was so excited to see them. I have been really worried about Grandma. As many of you know, she recently had surgery to remove a cancerous tumor in her bone (knee). Mommy had said Grandma was getting a little restless. She hadn't been able to put pressure on her leg since the surgery. But, she did get clearance last week to start putting a small amount of pressure on it. That meant that Grandma could finally go up and down the stairs to sleep in her own bed (she had been sleeping on the couch).

Anyways, I think she was really happy to see me. I was happy to see her. I gave her a gift, a couple of pairs of Havanese socks Mommy and Daddy found at the State Fair. She said she really liked them. I liked them to because there are many Havanese that look like me on her new socks! She can be with me all of the time.

I think Grandma looks great, don't you!

I snuggled with her a lot - and even laid down on her legs for a long nap.

Oh - and Grandma got this cool new chair. She needed to get a recliner in order to keep her legs off the ground. Anyways, I thought it was pretty cool. In fact, when Grandma would leave, I would hop-up into the chair and fall asleep. It was really comfy.

But, I can't forget Grandpa. He would take me out first thing in the morning for a walk. And, he would take me for several more walks during the day. He also gave me lots of my favorite treats. Grandpa is one cool dude. Also, he takes great care of Grandma - and I want him to know how grateful we are for the care he has been providing Grandma for the past several weeks!

Anyways, I am home now with Daddy. He missed me a lot (and I missed him too).
