Mommy's Favorite Day of the Year

Race day! And not just any race day. The race day. The one where the Monaco Grand Prix, Indianapolis 500 and Coca-Cola 600 are all run on the same day. And you can bet we watched them all!

Even when Mommy went to Auntie Rachel's for a BBQ (and waited out the Rain Delay by watching a "classic race"), she watched the race.

And yes, I spent all of yesterday catching up on my zzzz's. Until next year.

Up Close and Personal

The Tongue

Yes, it's true. I make it a point to tell Mommy when I'm not pleased with something by sticking out my tongue. I actually thought she never saw me do it, but she finally caught me. And got it on camera!

Mother's Day

Today is Mother's Day. And I can think of no better way to spend it than with my Mommy. Oh, and a few friends.

First, we had a weekend visitor. A top secret visitor. So, I spent the morning keeping my eye on them (yes, they were out on the balcony for awhile)

Once our visitor left, Mommy and I headed to Auntie Rachel's.She took me on a few walks.

And let me keep watch over the neighborhood.

While I waited for Talulah to arrive (can you see her? Her Dad is parking the car).

Once Talulah arrived (and I'll admit, it didn't go well for a few hours), we went to the rooftop to do some planting. It ended up being a whole lot colder than we expected.

Talulah and I spent much of the time in an epic stare down.

And of course, Auntie Rachel fed all of us (I even tried Vegan Chicken...and liked it).

Talulah and I eventually came to like each other.

I had a great time spending the day with my all time favorite person, Mommy, and her friends Rachel, Kathryn, Linda, Fernando and Talulah.

Picture of the Week

Mommy has decided this is THE picture of the week.

Bunny Love

FAQ has been very sick. And, he's not out of the woods yet. Auntie Kristin woke up on Thursday and realized he wasn't feeling so good. She took him to the Vet, who couldn't find anything that was obviously wrong. The Vet thought he might have an air bubble in his stomach. So, sent him home with antibiotics.

But, he got much worse. Auntie Kristin wasn't sure if he was going to make it through the night. In fact, Auntie Kristin took this photo of FAQ when she was up with him during the night. At least he was being comforted by his very own PEEP!

Well, things did not get better and he went back to the Vet yesterday. He was peeing, but not pooping (and that isn't good for a rabbit). The Vet just couldn't find anything wrong. So, the Vet decided to take him home for the night and provide the same care that Auntie Kristin was providing. Auntie Kristin and Uncle Eugene were very worried that FAQ would pass over the rainbow bridge during the night.

But, I'm happy to report that he pooped during the night and was able to come home today. He's still not out of the woods, So, please send good bunny vibes to FAQ. I am.
