Today is another sad day for our family. Mommy’s Uncle Scott -Aunt Colleen’s husband - passed away yesterday. He too was fighting cancer for a number of years, but as Mommy’s cousin said, he died of a broken heart. He couldn’t bear to be without Aunt Colleen. They both did not have to wait long to be reunited; 9 days to be exact.
Mommy used to play tennis with uncle Scott when she’d visit Chicago in the summer. He used to be a tennis pro, so he kept her game sharp when she wasn’t practicing at home.
Both gone too soon, now we need to provide our love, support and prayers for their two sons and two grandchildren.
