The summer concert series continues. Auntie Kristin arrived on Friday so that she and Mommy could go see Miranda Lambert at Tinley Park. They even did some tailgating (well their style which involved Taco Bell).

The weather was sketchy and they weren't quite sure if they'd make it through the concert without being rained on. Good thing they were prepared with rain poncho's and that they had seats under the cover. In the end, they didn't need the poncho's because it didn't rain.

Now back to the concert. The opening acts - Brothers Osbourne and Kip Moore - were good. And then there was Miranda. Mommy and Auntie Kristin said she was a bit off. She told the audience that she was a mess and had "cramps." She also said she had been nursing them all day with chocolate and vodka. It became apparent later that she kept up with the vodka during the show.

The show actually made national news yesterday because Miranda broke down in tears and couldn't get through one of her songs (one she wrote with Blake). Mommy and Auntie Kristin said they were glad they went despite the drama.

Mommy and Auntie Kristin spent the rest of the weekend running errands, going to the movies (Jason Bourne) and working on communication materials for non-profit companies.

I even got to help them work on the materials.

And spend time snuggling with Mommy.

I can't wait to see which concert they go to next. I'm really liking this #summerconcertseries thing they've got going on. Mostly because I get to spend time with my Auntie Kristin.
