Day 226 - COVID-19 2020
Tuesday. I woke up to find Mommy in the middle of her morning routine.
I’m not sure if I’ve ever talked about her morning routine. So, I’ll tell you now.
The alarm is set for 5:20 a.m. it usually never goes off because Mommy naturally wakes up between 4:30 and t:00 a.m. on the days where the alarm does go off, she immediately turns it off and reads the overnight headlines to see what she needs to focus on for the day. She is out of bed and into the shower no later than 5:30 a.m. once out of the shower, she checks on what I’ve done overnight (I am pad trained so sometimes I get up and go to the bathroom. Let’s be clear, I’m an older man now and that’s just what we do. I also eat during the night). Mommy replenishes my food and water, fills the SMEG with water, gets her phone (she no longer sleeps next to it) and comes back to bed. She’ll spend the next half hour or so reading the news, scrolling through her social media and start watching a movie she has been trying to finish (or TV series). She is out of bed by 6:20 a.m. to finish getting ready (make up, hair, clothes and daily statements).
Once done, she takes a picture of the statement of the day (much like this one).

Day 225 - COVID-19 2020
It’s Monday. I’ve now know when Monday is coming. I don’t want the weekend to end and so I stay up all night and keep Mommy from getting sleep. You see, I like all of her attention and during the week I have to compete with all who get on Mommy’s work schedule.

Day 224 - COVID-19 2020
Mommy got off to an early start today. She needed to make a trip to the honey hole to get supplies for Auntie Kristin (and a few other things). Her journey was a cold one.
On her walk she saw something new; new artwork on the boards that cover the Sephora store windows on Michigan Avenue.
A great reminder of the importance of all women and to get out and vote to ensure your voice is heard!
Mommy got all she needed at the honey hole and made the trek home.
It was pretty quiet on LaSalle today and she finally got a good photo of the orange fountains across the street (they drain the fountain right after Halloween).

Day 223 - COVID-19 2020
Mommy woke up and looked out the window as she normally does and was highly confused why she was seeing cars drive on the wrong side of the road. She came back to bed and an hour later decided it was time to start the weekend.
This is what we saw next.
