Day 345 - COVID-19 2021

Today was a great day. It was 48 degrees outside and Grandma and Grandpa got their first COVID vaccine shot today. The plumber comes tomorrow. So hopefully they’ll be able to fix the damage so they have water and are able to check out of the hotel. They still need the clean up crew to come in. They are confirmed to receive service, they just haven’t had confirmation on day or time yet.

With the weather being so warm, Mommy was able to take me out for a walk. But she almost regretted it the moment we stepped out of the door. It’s really wet from all the melting snow and it’s dirty. So of course, I got dirty ( I didn’t care, but Mommy sure does).

One other thing. Now that I no longer have teeth, I can’t control where my tongue goes. So, I often sleep with my tongue out, walk around the house with my tongue out or just hang out with my tongue out. Mommy is assessed with my tongue and does not miss an opportunity to capture my tongue on files.

I’ve been hanging out since Mommy unpacked al of our Amazon boxes.

Day 344 - COVID-19 2021

It’s Monday! And it’s National Margarita Day. Mommy and Auntie Linda celebrate this day together (although Mom couldn’t make it last year due to her travels).

The place they usually go to celebrate is only open on the weekend due to COVID. So, they celebrated at their favorite local pizza joint (which had specialty margaritas to mark the occasion).

I stayed at home and held down the fort (if you count whining at the door for 2 hours).

Now I’m back to where I started the day. In bed and ready to call it a Monday.

Day 343 - COVID-19 2021

 Guess what guys? It’s going to snow today. Mommy made sure we got out before the flakes started flying.

Since Mommy had brunch plans yesterday, she cleaned the apartment today. For me, that meant a lot of ,aging around.

Also, I’m sharing bonus photos that Mommy took of me last night as I was going to bed.

Day 342 - COVID-19 2021

Guess what you guys? I got to go out for a walk today!

 It was cold,  it what I was most shocked. Y was all the snow! I knew we got a lot of snow,  it wow. Mommy says it is supposed to snow tomorrow, so we may not be able to get out tomorrow.

Mommy was able to spend time with her friends today. They all had brunch at Auntie Christian’s new place. And you know what, she has a dog too.

Jolene, a pit bull, is a girl after Mommy’s heart. Do you see the statement she is making today?

After the girls left, Jolene (JoJo) just crashed.

And to be honest, so did Mommy.
