Day 15 - Post-COVID-19 City.-Wide Lockdwon

Today was the big day. I woke up in one place and now I’m going to sleep in the new place..

While the movers and the Framily came to move us, Mommy took me to daycare. I came home looking fresh and smelling good.

I was excited to explore the new place and then I grew tired. Mommy made sure one of my beds was right next to her desk. And the view isn’t bad either.

 

Day 14 - Post COVID-19 City-Wide Lockdown

Tomorrow is the big day. Mommy was able to get the keys to our new digs today so I was able to go in and check it out.

 

 

The view is sure different up here, but I think I’m going to like.

Auntie Linda and Auntie Nella came by tonight to help Mommy move. Now we have movers coming tomorrow, but they wanted to help Mommy. And boy did they. Essentially, the furniture remains for the movers to move (with a few small things Mommy has to pack up). I did get in the way a few times, but only because I wanted to help.

So, Mommy had to put me to bed to keep me out of the way.

Mommy is just so overwhelmed with their kindness and willingness to do such icky work (that’s what Mommy thinks of moving).

Today was also resident appreciation day in our building so I got a mid-day sweet treat.Cool, hey.

Day 13 - Post COVID-19 City-Wide Lockdown

T-minus two days until the big move.

 It was all about the tongue today!

Day 12 - Post COVID-19 City-Wide Lockdown

T-minus three days until the move. I’m just going to say this move can’t happen soon enough. There is stuff all over the place and I’ve come to realize I don’t like it. Mommy is OCD and I am too. I like predictable, I have a routine, things need to be in their proper place. I realize this is driving Mommy insane and me too. By this time next week, we’ll be settled (well almost) and our things will have new places to be stored or displayed. Man, this moving thing really does suck. I can see why Mommy has let me stay with my friends, go to daycare and board in the past. 

 

Day 11 - Post COVID-19 City-Wide Lockdown

T minus four days until the big move. Trust me, I can’t wait. I’m so tired of all these boxes blocking my routes to my food, water, bed and door to go outside. 

The one positive…McDonald’s french fries for lunch (since we have no food in the refrigerator or freezer.

Can’t wait to see what is for lunch tomorrow.
