Day 122 - Post COVID-19 City-Wide Lockdown

Saturday! Mommy usually does chores today, but she cleaned the house after work last night so she could go and get her nails done right when they opened (they have been very busy lately). But before that, Mommy made lunches and dinners for the week, making Grandpa Mac’s chili recipe.

Mommy came home after her nails to make sure I was fed. She. Then left to run a few errands by foot and came home to spend the rest of the day with me.but, it wasn’t smooth sailing. I was drinking water when I sneezed, and water went everywhere (cabinets, floor, rug, window, etc).

Day 121 - Post COVID-19 City-Wide Lockdown

It’s Friday and I’m so happy. It’s been a long week in our house with a mommy burning the candle at both ends. The good news about that is that I’m able to have her home so I’m nearby. The bad thing about it is I don’t always get as many cuddles on those long days.

Much of the day was gloomy and by 3 p.m, we experienced a gully washer. Also, Mommy got an alert for a skinny funnel cloud. Never has she read an alert like that. She shared it with a grandma and to say it tickled her funny bone would be an understatement.

We ordered pizza for dinner (going back to our pre-pandemic Regular Friday routine. While waiting for the pizza, Mommy saw this:

The start of a restaurant fire on Clark. Mommy is going to head up there tomorrow to see what happened. In the meantime, I hung out in my teepee.

Day 120 - Post COVID-19 City-Wide Lockdown

It’s Thursday. And it was another early morning.

I ate a lot today so that meant my face was super duper orange. Mommy brushed it tonight and tried to clean me up. She doesn’t think she was successful.

And on a final note, it rained a lot today.

Day 119 - post COVID-19 City-Wide Lockdown

Another early day for Mommy.

Mommy worked away today while I slept, exercises a round the house and politely interrupted Mommy for food.

Day 118 - Post COVID-19 City-Wide Lockdown

Taco  Tuesday? No tacos today.

Mommy was up and going early. She had an early call that it even required her to turn on the room light in the office to take her first video call.

The good news is that Mommy made sure I ate and was content before her call started.
