Day 24 - PoSt COVID-19 City-Wide Lockdown

Today is America’s Birthday. And honestly, an excuse for Mommy to make a good statements) - and me too. Although I was not that all that cooperative today.

Mommy went to the pool early this morning and watched the F1 race while sitting pig in the pool (pretty cool). She then came home to have lunch with me. She then ran errands and had  dinner with Auntie Nella. Now, she is home and we are awaiting the fireworks from all the surrounding communities. With us being so high up now we can see them without having to leave the air conditioning.

Day 23 - Post COVID-19 City-Wide Lockdown

It’s the weekend. That means chores. Mommy cleaned the new place for the first time and now she has more space (and toilets to clean). I really hope Mommy finally breaks down and gets some help for cleaning. 

After Mommy cleaned, she took a break at the pool. She went early enough that it was quiet.

Mommy ran a few errands and then came home to spend the rest of the day with me!

And Mommy finally got a picture of me working on my new pastime. I love Mommy’s new jewelry armoire and I love looking at myself in it (it’s mirrored on all sides). I look darn good, don’t you think?

Day 22 - Post COVID-19 City-Wide Lockdown

Today is my 14th birthday 🎂! Happy Birthday to me.

Mommy had to get the oil changed in the car this morning. So, she dropped off the car early, anticipating that they’d take most of the day to do the service. But, she wasn’t home 10 minutes when they texted to say the car was ready. So, Mommy walked the 2 miles back to the dealer and made a stop for me on the way home.

Mommy said I would have gotten fries,  it it was still breakfast. Look, a fried potato from McDonald’s is all the same to me. Yummy!

I had a great day just hanging out with Mom.

Day 21 - Post -COVID-19 City-Wide Lockdown

Mommy had to take a few work calls today, but she was able to shutdown this afternoon.

Mommy and I now need to get back on our daily routine, she does still set an alarm each day and tired to keep things mostly the same, but it isn’t, so Mommy assured me we’ll get back to that in the next day or two.
