It's Cold Outside

I love to go outside, but it's been very, very cold this past week. Yesterday was so bad, I tried to hide from Mommy so I didn't have to go outside.

It's a good thing I was successful at getting Mommy not to take me outside. I think Mommy's picture says it all.

Holiday Hair

I got my hair cut today. Of course my appointment fell on one of the coldest days of the year.

So I got my coat on and away we went.

Mommy said I looked so handsome in my coat, bandana and Santa bell.

I think I'm going to be able to put the bell to good use.

Tree Trimming

Mommy and her friends helped Auntie Rachel decorate her first tree. Rachel is Jewish, but her best friend and her kids are coming to Chicago for Christmas (and they aren't Jewish).

So, Rachel got the tree and some ornaments, made some delicious treats and a few cocktails. And walla, a party was born.

Of course Mommy had to wear holiday headgear and a statement necklace (aka xmas lights).

The tree turned out really nice and fun was had by all.

The Older the Better

A week older - and wiser - and I might just be cuter than I was last week.

The Gift that Keeps on Giving

I helped Mommy wrap all the Christmas presents this weekend. I was attracted to shiny red paper Mommy got. And, the paper had glitter on it to make it sparkle even more.

Well, I had a lot of fun wrapping. All the glitter got in my hair, on my paws and I transferred it to everything else. It got on the floor, the couch, the bed, Mommy, everything. That's why Mommy says that glitter is the gift that keeps on giving.

Pictures of the Week

I know, I've been behind on my posts for the week. I did finally manage to sneak all the pictures of me off Mommy's phone while she wasn't looking.

Winter has arrived (unofficially)

With the first measurable snowfall of the season, I can officially (although it's not quite Winter yet) say that Winter is upon us. Mommy and I spent most of the day inside, well after Mommy went to the grocery store. But, she didn't beat the snow home.

I enjoyed spending the day with Mommy watching the snow fall. We really couldn't watch much else since the snow knocked out the TV satellite.
