Day 75 - COVID-19 2020

Today is Friday. Its ending with the sound of helicopters overhead. Protests in the streets. Hopefully it will be more peaceful than our home of Minneapolis.

Now enjoy the rest of the photos Mommy took of me today.

Day 74 - COVID-19 2020

we are expecting rain, so we got out for our walk ahead of it. While leaving the apartment tonight, we ran into Mommy's co-worker Danielle (who lives in our building) and I got to meet her new puppy Lucy. We got along well and I got some live from Danielle and her husband.

The rest of the day was non-eventful. I slept a lot and zmommy worked (I mean that is our day 5-days a week).

Day 73 - COVID-19 2020

the most exciting thing that happened today was the appearance of the window washer.

This happens twice a year. Now Mommy knows what it sounds like and hopefully understands why I run and hide.

The rest of the day was like all others. Mommy worked, talked on the phone, answered a lot of emails, edited documents and created a few presentations. I slept.

I know what you've really been waiting for...Mommy's statement.

Day 72 - COVID-19 2020

We got out for a walk in between weird pop up downpours.

I personally was very excited.

Mommy was back at work today, so I hung out.

Of course I got plenty of cuddles and kisses from Mommy.

Mommy did get some alone time today on her 2-mile walk. She captured this beauty of the river and skyline facing west.

And finally, the statement of the day.

Day 71 - COVID-19 2020 - Memorial Day Edition

The official start to the summer sure didn't feel like it, except for the near-90 degree heat. First, let's take a moment to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice to keep us free.

We are still is "quarantine" or "phase 1" as the governor and mayor call it.

Before it got too warm, we went for a walk.

I then spent the afternoon snuggling with Mom or lounging in the sun.

Mommy  went out for a couple mile walk without me. I get it, she's trying to prep me for the time when she goes back to the office (but we both think that won't happen for a very long time). She said she saw lots of people not practicing social distancing or wearing a face mask. Not Mommy, she had hers on.

And that brings us to the statement of the day.

If you haven't noticed, Mommy has a lot of masks. In fact, she has been replacing her statement jewelry with statement masks.

Day 70 - COVID-19 2020

No rain today! In fact, it's pretty warm outside

Mommy went to  the post office today and she said it was too warm to wear her mask for the full walk. But rest assured, if she saw anyone near, she placed her mask back over her nose and mouth.

I found a cool spot on the floor and hung out there  most of the afternoon.

Earlier in the day I supervised the changing to thr sheets and the duvet covers.

Now I'm waiting for my chicken to finish cooking.
