I Lost...

My first tooth! And, I can't believe I waited this long to tell you.

I lost my first tooth last Wednesday (before Grandma and Grandpa came to visit). And, Daddy found another tooth of mine on the floor last night.

Mommy and Daddy are very excited...I am just waiting for the Tooth Fairy to show up!

Thanksgiving...a lot to be thankful for!

My week started out with a flurry of activity. My Mom said she needed to get ready for something called Thanksgiving. But, apparently, in order to do that, she needed to get ready for the Christmas holiday.

Last Saturday, Mom and Dad spent a lot of time bringing out new decorations for the house. I was really confused by all of the activity. I was really tired. So, I just laid down and watched the NASCAR race (Mommy's favorite driver, Dale Jr., didn't win).



All of the excitement made me really tired.



Later in the week, Mommy and Daddy told me that I would be meeting some new people. They didn't tell me that it would be Grandma and Grandpa - and Jackson Hareing's Mommy and Daddy. I was so excited. Grandma and Grandpa are so nice. They liked to play and cuddle with me (even after I took a bite out of Grandpa's toes).

My aunt Kristin and Mommy went shopping for a long time on Friday. I guess it is tradition, but I really don't understand what "Black Friday" is all about. It seems a little crazy to me. I got to stay home with my Grandpa, my Uncle Eugene and my Daddy. We watched football (and I was able to catch-up on my sleep). Grandpa says I can come visit him at his house. I can't wait! And, I hear Jackson my be coming too!

Mommy is Back!

This week, my Mom went to Chicago for the US Greenbuild Conference and Expo. She said her company was there to talk to people about how they make the world a "greener" place. I really don't know what that means, but it sounds cool.



Anyways, I spent all my time with Daddy. He and I went on lots of walks. I had to put my sweatshirt on because it was cold. Also, we went to my puppy class. I had lots of fun. But, class always makes me tired.







Mommy arrived home on Thursday night. The best part...Mommy had lots of laundry to do and it is one of my favorite things to do with Mommy.

I Am Getting Bigger...

I went to the Vet yesterday and I weigh 6.9 pounds. I had to go and get my Rabies shot. I wasn't too excited when I figured out why I was there, but Mommy and Daddy said I did really good. I think it was because they distracted me with a treat! I love my Cheerios.

Daddy and I will be spending lots of time together this week. Mommy is going out of town on a business trip to someplace called Chicago. I am going to miss my Mommy.

Do You Like My Hair?

Today Daddy loaded me into the car to take me someplace new. When we got there, there were lots of other dogs and I found out I was going to get my first haircut. The ladies at the "Pawlor" were very nice and took good care of me. I had my hair washed and trimmed (now Mommy can see my big beautiful brown eyes, my nails cut and my ears cleaned. When Daddy came to pick me up, he bought me a new sweatshirt (Mommy says I will need it when it gets cold outside). I think I look pretty darn handsome.











By the way, this is Halloween. Mommy and Daddy tell me it is a holiday where kids dress up and go around and ask for Candy. I was so excited to see all of the kids. I wanted to play with them. But, Mommy and Daddy kept me on my leash so I wouldn't run away with the kids. Here I am waiting for the kids to come to the door!

A Big Week...

Daddy and I got to spend our first night by ourselves on Monday. Mommy was out of town on business (Mommy and I get to spend time together when Daddy is away on business.) Here I am with Mommy before she left on her trip...



But, Daddy got really sick. So, most of the time, I just slept with Daddy. I just wanted him to feel better.

Tuesday night, Daddy was feeling OK and took me to my first puppy class (he forgot the camera - but that is OK - he was really sick). I was scared at first, but by the end of the class, I had made several new friends (and learned a few new tricks).

But, today, by far, has been the most exciting day of my week. Mommy's friend Kira came to visit. She brought her daughter Katrina to play with me! Oh my goodness, I had a great time playing with her. And, she even brought me a new toy (an elephant). She said that she would come back and visit me soon! I can't wait.

My Visit to the Vet

Today, Mommy and Daddy took me to the Vet. I wanted to give you a quick update on how I am doing. Dr. Shannon said that I am great. I am in good health, my tear staining is normal(something Mommy is very concerned about)and my ears look good. Also, I have gained 2 pounds since the last time I was there. So, now I weigh 6.25 pounds. Oh, I also had to get a shot. I wasn't too crazy about it, but Mommy and Daddy said I did really well.
